Food was good, not popping hot. Today was a bit done. Bacon was great and hash browns were yummy. Nice space with most behind the scenes things hidden away while still setting the cook working. Great window and skylight lighting. Loud blender. A worthy stop!

Nice place and friendly fast service. However, I wouldn't order the avocado toast again. For the price point, this dish would benefit from ripe tomatoes, thoughtful plating, and a boost of flavor.

I was in Cambridge this weekend to visit a friend and checked out this restaurant. It's a true farm to table restaurant. The atmosphere felt like I was in my kitchen at home. The staff was very welcoming and so kind. I couldn't have asked for better service. I am always hesitant about food at places like this because I'm a picky eater, but I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I ordered the Romaine salad and the Yankee Pot Roast. The salad was the best part of my meal because I loved how fresh it tasted. The Yankee Pot Roast melted like butter and the veggies were savory and sweet at the same time. I also ordered lemon cheesecake and it was delicious 😋. Definitely should check out this place if you are in town.

This is a special place for us, since we personally know Peter Davis, the now retired renowned chef of Henrietta's Table. We live in California, I have his book, "Fresh and Honest", and just now had a chance to come to his restaurant here in Harvard Square for the first time. Our expectations were met and exceeded, even with the Chef himself no longer cooking. The server told us he still is a frequent visitor, so it's great that he keeps an eye on the place. The food was beyond delicious, every dish flavorful yet not overly complex. You could discern every subtle ingredient. With a party of four, we pretty much had most of the main dishes covered, every one of them equally divine. Duck breast, pork chop, lamb shank, pot roast - all four types of meat cooked to perfection, complemented (not masked) by the just right type of sauce and texture of starch. The aftermeal farmer's custard was just sweet enough to cleanse your palate, but it's so much more than a simple palate cleanser, it's an experience in itself - like you're eating a cool cloud. They served it with a dollop of whipped cream, but it was unnecessary, for compared to the custard, whipped cream is bland and rough in texture, so you just want to scoop it aside. No need for it. The server Andrew was very friendly and there when you needed him, not when you didn't. Overall, one of the best dining experiences ever.

Henrietta’s Table is a strong 4 in my book. Located in the Charles Hotel, it is a nice place to go as a group or with family visiting Cambridge. There is a good mix of meat and vegetarian options. The staff is very attentive. The quality was very strong with a number of local ingredients. We had the scrod, which was haddock our night, and the salmon. You can make a reservation here on Open table.

I was quite surprised with how good was here at this point dining restaurant in Boston. The staff were extremely accommodating in seating our large group, and we were appropriately waited on in a reasonable time. We started out with some sides of their roasted cauliflower and asparagus. The roasted cauliflower is incredible - beautifully charred and infused with great flavors. The asparagus was roasted and infused with a lemon butter and shepherd’s cheese from Vermont. The bread that they serve is awesome album. They provide three different types of bread, sourdough, one with Craisins, and the wheat bread. All of them are freshly baked and sliced. Served with butter, it’s the perfect starter to a meal. For the main courses, I got to try their grain bowl with tofu, their veggie burger, and their Yankee pot roast. The grain bowl was filled with warm grains, roasted veggies, toasted pistachios, arugula, and all topped with crispy tofu and a warm vinaigrette. The veggie burger was incredible, with the buns being grilled with butter. They put a generous amount of avocado and a spicy mayo on top. The pot roast was my favorite. The beef was incredibly tender and covered with a sweet and savory gravy. It was all laid on top of beautifully mashed and buttery potatoes. They also provide some soft, grilled carrots on top for color and flavor. Do note that this restaurant includes a 20% gratuity charge already in the bill, and they do bring out your final bill with another spot for additional tip. I would suggest that they inform the diners that tip has already been included so that people aren’t unknowingly double tipping.
