This park has been my favorite place for the past 25 years! I love the canal paths. I used to ride my bike, but now I'm happy just to walk it.
Great place to access the Erie canal trail or launch your canoe or kayak. Tiny park with parking and porta potty. For fishing or the afore mentioned it is perfect.
This is a small park along the canal. Roughly 30 parking spaces and they can fill up quickly on nice weather days. I believe the hours are Dawn til Dusk but this is loosely enforced. There is a small launch for kayaks and the paved walking trail turns to gravel about 100 yards from the park. (This would be a great access point if you were wanting to ride bikes along the canal. Henpeck is mostly populated by fisherman and families. Would absolutely recommend for a relaxing walk or if you looking for a good walk/smoke place near Greece. 10/10
Has couple picnic tables. More for entry to canal path and boat docking. Lot of people fish there. Has bike repair station.
This is a convenient entrance to the canal path for walking or running. This stretch of the canal isn't paved and it can have muddy patches and puddles. There is a small grassy area and a couple tables in this "park" but it is mostly just a parking lot for using the canal.
Great starting point to jog or ride alongside the Erie Canal. This section is fairly quiet during the day. There are no public restrooms and parking on weekends is limited due to parking lot size. The trail is typically well maintained, but there are some small sections in need of minor repairs due to roots and ruts.
Came here today to fish.. and not much luck here at all. Sitting right by the bridge in the shade.
Nice entry to the canal trail. Parking lot could be bigger as depending on the day or time, it's can be busy, but overall, it's easy to get to and convenient.
Very nice park. If you walk from the park entrance to the end of the pond it's about a mile, I think. Nice exercise. My dog and I took the trail today. It's well marked with red flags. She had a blast jumping in the pond when we got there. Unfortunat
My kids always love a trip to the spray pad in warm weather! There's a large playground near it that gives lots of options if kids get bored with the water. The spray area isn't contained, but it's closed off on 2-3 sides and easy to supervise. The p
Always clean and peaceful. Haven't checked out the restrooms, but it's a nice little spot hidden in an industrial area. I meet my partner here for lunch on his break. Beautiful even in the winter. Very well maintained with plowing and leaf pickup.
