Hennessy's Bar & Grille - Bar & grill in Oldsmar - 3980 Tampa Rd, USA

Overall great and here's why : 1) nice ambience and plenty of seating , about 12 seats at the bar . 2) plenty of draft beer options and liquor . And my bartender knew how to pour a well made draft. 3) food was delicious and quality. I had a regular burger and it came out in about 8 minutes but it was also a slow time at the bar lol . 4) music isn't super loud but it's a nice background noise. I highly recommend to all and they have daily specials too. Thanks staff at Hennessy!!!!

I ordered a Cuban sandwich with slaw see menu's online with price of 7.50 now 10.25. i have hand Cubans for 50 years and have to say I was not pleased. Seemed like a nice dive bar and would be happy having a few drinks and maybe try something different to eat.

The bartender's service was disappointing, displaying a negative attitude throughout. I sensed an unwelcoming atmosphere, wondering if it was related to our race. When I tried to order chicken wings, she appeared frustrated with the menu. To top it off, she seemed indifferent when we left the bar. It's disheartening that this may not be an inclusive place for everyone. I’m unsure whether or not it’s the same bartender everyday, but I went on a Friday evening.. if it’s a Caucasian women with raggedy brownish hair and a bunch of rolls on her face then that is her. lol black people DO NOT COME HERE. it was so unwelcoming I didn’t even get a chance to order my food. Me and my wife decided that we were going to leave. Gracefully.

Definitely a local feel. Huge space, great for darts, pool, watching the game or just having dinner. Don't let the small menu fool you... Have yet to have a bad meal there. P.s. The wings are great!

Came in last minute remembering they have good wings. Surprised to see a live DJ on a Sunday night?! But he was great! Played a variety of music from different eras and genres but generally read the room and fed off of that.. ! I’ve been here a few times but haven’t met Damon (the bartender) until tonight. I admit I can be a bit picky. He was all smiles and accommodating the entire time. Checked on us often and ensured food/drinks were good, and that we were having a good time. (I tipped extra of course since I know I can be *demanding.*) If you haven’t been in, you’re missing out..!

We played Hennessy's Bar & Grille on 11/13/21 from 9pm to 1am. WHAT A BLAST! Great stage and dance floor. Tang shots are off the hook! Great staff and the people are friendly. Some of the snippets ("Dirty Deeds" and "Piece of My Heart") in our video promo below were taken from that night! And the Led Zeppelin guitar solo below was also recorded that evening. Great stage and sound set up (for musicians) and a nice big dance floor with easy access to the bar. Super friendly staff! A FUN place! It's a long trip for us, but we're looking forward to playing there again!

I didnt read reviews before visiting. We spotted it from our hotel window. Based on the name and sign, I was expecting an Irish pub, but that wasn't the case. It was a mix of different food. My dad had the meatloaf special, I had a chicken quesadilla, and my sister had a poboy. Food was good, service was quick. The server went above and beyond. My dad has issues swallowing and unfortunately couldn't eat his meal. She offered to take it off the bill since he only tried a couple bites. Definitely felt like a locals place. Food was very inexpensive too. Overall, Id recommend it.

Extremely rude bartender. My friend's dress was riding up while playing pool so the bartender asked her to pull it down. My friend complied, no big deal. Then the bartender's response was "good choice" acting like she was tough (she wasn't scaring anyone 🤦) and would kick us out otherwise. If you want to go to a bar and feel unwelcomed, this is the place to go. I would give it 0 stars but I'm unable to👎👎👎
