Hendricks County Fairgrounds - Fairground in Danville - 1900 E Main St, USA

Nice fairgrounds. I wish there were more trees for shade. They also need more tables for people to eat at. We loved the Demolition Derby, but it was short - only lasted a couple hours. The ones we have been to usually last at least 3 hours. The food vendors & amusement rides were very good.

Good place for larger casual events! The pricing to rent isn't too bad (~$450 per room, so $900 for both North/South Hall combined). They do charge separately for each table and chair which is interesting for a venue like this. There's a full kitchen attached and the area is nice too. They were easy to communicate with over email.

This is the most convenient place to hold any type of Event.. The Director Steve P & his Staff are the very Best...We have had our Events there for years now & always extremely satisfied with everything they gave to offer...

I can't speak to the entire fairgrounds. The main exposition building is very nice. I was there for a train show. The train show has been there several times. I presume from the low price of getting into the show renting the facility is reasonably priced. Building is modern and well maintained. Lots of parking.

I was very disappointed this year. It was my first time coming and my boyfriend had been telling me for WEEKS how excited he was to take me. The food was great; happy with all the options. As well as seeing all the animals. BUT when we went to see the 4-H projects we were rudely told we had to leave, by multiple staff. We were given no reason, BUT they didn’t tell anyone else around us to leave. All we wanted to do was see how truly amazing and talented the children were by seeing their talents and artwork. It was very discouraging and disappointing, because I thought that was really a big part of the Hendricks county 4-H fair. It’s literally in the name, but what do I know? From what I DID see, those kids are really going to go places and are truly mini Einsteins’ and Picassos’.

Wonderful facility for more than just the county fair. Comfortable meeting rooms and a fantastic kitchen. A seasonal garden is planted with indigenous species.

An excellent multi purpose venue. Very clean, nice, and well kept buildings. I enjoyed my time here and hope to be able to visit again in the future. No shortage on parking, and is on the outskirts of town so it's a lot easier to get to and find. Great and clean restrooms aswell, and also has outdoor seating and tables.
