Nice daily getaways; apple cider beetles are great
The strand in Galveston is an awesome little shopping and in these stores they sell beer and wine and some of them don't mind if you have a drink and shop. There are various Bars up and down the strand. Also some good food.. I'll get back with the food. 😁
A nice green space on The Strand with a historic Rosenberg fountain
What's not to love, the grounds are beautiful, perfect location, tons of shopping and restaurants. And, two of the best food trucks are in the park.
Pleanty of benches, but only one with shade. There is a bicyle rack, which is few and far between on the island. The fountain isn't much of spectal and the trees give little to no shade.
We saw a show there through Dickens on the Strand.
