This covered bridge is definitely off the beaten path. The gravel road turns into a dirt road and it’s full of potholes, so definitely not really well maintained. But that’s what Jeeps are for right?! We got to see this bridge on an bright & beautiful day, but then it started raining right before we left! The water was perfectly mirroring the bridge, which definitely made for some amazing photographs! Our first Covered Bridge we came across in Maine. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for an adventure and want to explore. Also beware of poison ivy all around the area.

What a great stop from our road trip. Amazing historical bridge. Just love every inch of the construction. As an engineer myself was like visiting a thematic park.

Beautiful covered bridge. Keep patient driving down Hemlock Bridge Road and you’ll be sure to find it! Great bridge to get unobstructed photos from all sides too.
