Great location in the heart of St Augustine. Walkable to most all attractions and many restaurants. Room was somewhat small but clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is tight so not recommended for larger vehicles. Would definitely stay here again.
My daughter and I went to St Augustine for a wedding. I booked room #10 at Hemingway House. We stayed on Thursday and Friday. I booked a room with a balcony overlooking the street. I received a text at 3:26pm on Thursday that said I was moved to another room. That text came when I was about 30 minutes away. No mention of no balcony. When I got there, I was told there was no balcony. I asked if I was going to get a partial refund and she said no. I stated that I was not happy. She said just sit out on the porch. ||While sitting on the porch Thursday night, we were talking with a couple that came in the day before us and the same bait and switch happened to them. They were not informed until they got to the property. ||If they were informed on Wednesday for the same reason, then we could have been informed on Wednesday so we could have had time to look around for a balcony room. However, by the time we were notified, it was too late.||When I got back on Sunday, I looked up the price for the room and there was a $98 difference. I wrote an email and today is Thursday and no answer. So, I called and the "manager" said that I should have gotten the refund while I was there. I had asked the woman at the desk several times and she kept saying no. I never saw anyone that worked there for the rest of our stay. The "manager" said that he might be able to give me $30 but not $98. ||What a terrible way to run a business. Bait and switch! The other couple had the same story! Shame on you Hemingway Hotel!!!!|
Excellent location in St. Augustine! Easy walk to St. George's street, the Fort, museums, and shopping. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Best part was sitting on the porches, drinking coffee or wine and watching the world go by! Kudos to the chef, the breakfast was amazing, sweet one day and savory the next. We will be back for more visits!
Excellent breakfast. Toilet paper was poor quality. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. It would have been nice to have coffee in room or house we stayed . Location was superb. It was wonderful to have parking on site.
Only redeeming factor to get a higher review was the location. Convenient to St. George Street and Harry's Restaurant. Very noisy street and nearby patio bar across the street. Stayed Thursday and Friday night during Festival of Lights. Very expensive for a small cramped room and "updated" bathroom that needed a lot of TLC especially grout in the corner of the shower. Breakfast was later in the morning and was mediocre at best. Will not stay here again and do not recommend. Next door Inn on Charlotte is similar and managed by the people. There are many better B&B's in St. Augustine.
The check-in process was super easy. The staff was very friendly. Our room was not large but suited our needs. It may have been a problem with big luggage. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom upgraded. We had access to a very nice porch we only had to share with one other room. For the price and accommodations, we will be back!!!!
Convenient location close to St. George Street and Harry's Restaurant but very noisy street traffic and patio restaurant nearby during evening. Very expensive Thursday and Friday during Festival of Lights. Additionally charged $15 per day for room cleaning. Room not even straightened during our stay. Room was small, almost wall to wall bed. "Updated" bathroom could use some TLC especially needed grout in corners. Breakfast was later in the morning and mediocre for a B&B. Will not stay here again. Better B&Bs in St. Augustine.
The pillows were very nice and fluffy. The food was very good , the B&B was nice and clean, and I would recommend it to anyone. The next time we travel to St. Augustine we will stay here again. Connie was the best and really took care of us, answered all our questions and was great. Thanks Connie.

Rooms not rated as we were there for the Restaurant only. Didn't know quite what to expect inasmuch as there were a few non-4-or-5 star reviews. That said, the food and service was terrific. Atmosphere [this is early December] was warm and comforting
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay at Centennial House. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday getaway extra special, from the complimentary sparkling wine in our room, to the reserved âbest seat in the houseâ break

A new favorite place for us!! We're on a progressive meal crawl. Something we do when we come here. We ordered the fried clams meal and it did not disappoint! ðð»ðThe clams were very fresh and huge. Fried in a light flavorful batter - not gre
Great little spot. Stopped in for my first time and had the Asada Bowl. Solid little bite of food, I must say. Good choice of hot sauces for the dips. The staff was very personal and welcoming.
We loved staying at journeys in. It had absolutely everything we needed! Some of those being a coffee machine, filtered water, umbrellas, toaster, makeup wipes, 2 TVS, and accessible power points. It was clean, big and well kept. It was just great I
Great rock climbing gym! Great vibe here that I really enjoyed. They have many great walls and individual climbs for all skill levels, some are definitely more of a workout then others as well. The little restraunt connecting it is very delicious and
Super friendly staff welcoming us dropping in from out of town. Facility is really clean and I loved having the open gym hours available for us to do whatever we wanted. Love the high ropes! Also very clean.
I recently completed training/certification with Sea Hunt Scuba. Steve is an OUTSTANDING instructor, on the first day he evaluated me in the pool and he made adjustments to my gear to make it more streamlined and efficient. He didn't just do the wo
We went to the beach to watch the sunrise and then wanted to stop for coffee and breakfast before heading home. Driving down King rd., I was able to see the neon Open sign on their window. I turned around and went back and parked in front of their
