Chase was a great technician. He quickly assessed our issue and resolved it. We have used Helt Heat and Air the last 3 times we've needed work done and the service is always prompt and fairly priced.

His people are nice. I scheduled an appointment which noted several times that I had to leave by 11:00. The appointment was originally scheduled for 10:00-10:30. The technician showed up, inspected the unit, and determined that it had been leaking Freon and showed up at 10:51. The technician then informed me that Freon was not covered on my warranty of my unit to his knowledge and had asked me what I wanted to do. I told him to go ahead and refill the unit and ask what the price per pound was. He said $95 per pound. He refilled the unit, I checked around on price per pound for the same exact Freon and was quoted at the cheapest $41 per pound. By the time he left, it was 12:51. I called the owner of the company, Steve, and questioned the price per pound, and if they would charge me a house call to come out to determine where the leak was once they had placed the dye in to determine where the leak was. He said yes there’s a house call to put the dye in, come back out and determine where the leak is, and come back out and repair the unit. A total of $375 plus the total hours of labor, which is $125/hour. While I appreciate him answering my call, this is definitely not the most price effective place to use.

Fast and friendly service. They were about to get Chase out to me the same day I called! Chase was knowledgeable and patiently explained what was going on with a clueless customer (me). Have used them before, will use them again.

The first visit was on July 5 when I had called your office to say that my air conditioning was blowing hot air. The technician came out had to wait for the coil to be unfrozen. He told me I needed four units of Freon, but he didn’t have the dye to put in the line, but he would come back out and put that in the line. Three weeks later I have the air conditioner blowing hot air again so I called and they sent the same technician out and he thought he was going to put the dye in the line. I told him it was already blowing hot air so he went up into the attic and said that I had a hole in the coil , and it wasn’t good news. He said he was calling the main office to let them know so they could start looking for a coil to tell me how much it was going to cost. At this point I’m getting upset because if you feel like there is possible leak in the system, don’t fill it completely up ; just put one unit in and see if it’s leaking. $600 later, And four days later, I still don’t have air conditioning in my house and nobody from your office has called to tell me how much a coil will be. At this point, I feel like I’ve been overcharged and underserviced.

If you need an A/C company, stop right here! I asked them to do a yearly check, and had a leak in my condensation unit somewhere that was leaking into my garage. While Chance was here, he looked at it and fixed it in two minutes! I'm so appreciative of this honest, respectful, knowledgeable business! They have earned my trust.

Chase did a great job diagnosing and repairing our problem. He fixed a small leak, installed pads, pump ups, and filter dryer. Would definitely recommend Helt Heat & Air to family and friends.
