This place is such a cool vibe. The music and atmosphere was on point and so was the service! Dezzy helped us through the menu to find our perfect drinks. And Octavio was the best Bartender. Definitely recommend 😊
This place is a VIBE! It’s beautifully decorated, the service is outstanding and the cocktails are exquisite! They also have 4 mocktail options which is very nice! Highly recommend!

This speakeasy was an unexpected find in Des Moines. The Eclectic decor was elegant, cozy, and a vibe all on itself. Desi was very knowledgeable about Celiac disease and their cocktail menu. She talked me through recommendations based on gluten sensitivity significance as well as the flavor profile I told her I liked. The bar was also told of my allergy and ensured no cross contamination of mixing utensils and shakers. Would highly recommend!
Update…. Have been here a few more times and I just had a one off experience. They do a great job and I am a fabulous fan. “I got the gin Pre mix drink. Tasted like perfume. Hard working bartenders. Nice place. Not a great drink.”
Always a fantastic spot for cocktails in downtown Des Moines. They have some “regular” cocktails but otherwise their menu changes seasonally, featuring house invented unique cocktails and well made traditional cocktails. Service is great, and the place has sort of a 60s-70s classy lounge feel inside. Highly recommend!
Low lit atmosphere, comfy chairs, can hear your conversation at this place and it looks like it was made in the 60's era. Loved everything about this place, the two tequila drinks were delicious.
The "mid-century modern" retro vibe is very charming and fun. The music being played fits perfectly. Quite the meticulously crafted libations!
I stopped in Des Moines for a couple of days and the crew at CrossFit Akeso treated me like I'd been a member for years! Big thanks to the 5:15 am class for the hospitality. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Des Moines.
Everything is an explosion of flavor combinations and textures. Madeleine does an amazing job however this salad, the Smokey Pecan Salad, just entered a new realm. Absolutely amazing and my new NWK favorite..next to the Giardiniera Hummus. Thank you
