Hello Kitty Café - Cafe in Irvine - 860 Spectrum Center Dr, USA

If you are a Hello Kitty fan, then look no further. You've found the super cute branded Hello Kitty cafe. They've got drinks and desserts. The cafe was hidden behind the side door near the register. They have a donut-making station. We didn't see it in action, but it looks cool! We came in for an iced drink, the desserts look great. You see customers eating them all over the mall. It's definitely worth a look!

Smaller than I imagined, but very cute. Definitely s fun little experience. The rose black iced tea was good and already sweetened. The strawberry cake was sweet and delicious. Loved the shopping bags and photo opportunities. We didn't get to go into the tea room, but it sounded like a cute experience. $60 for like 1.5 hour experience with food and a tea pot per person. Worth making reservation and trying it out!

My teens waited years for this cafe to open, having visited the pop-up cafe several years ago. The atmosphere was the embodiment of young female euphoria, covered in pink and embracing the Hello Kitty theme to the maximum extent possible. It was a dream paradise for my two daughters. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and respective items. The food was delicious, but a little too sweet for my pallet. The items were obviously ideal for a younger audience, with macarons, cookies, tea with a large helping of sugar, and little cakes. I struggle with the cost at $60 per person, but I also understand that this isn't a place you frequent, but a luxury experience made for special occasions. Overall a wonderful experience that I know my children will cherish forever.

Hello Kitty Cafe is located at the Irvine Spectrum City. My little sister wanted to go there so we gave it a try. It was pretty good. To me, it wasn’t really worth the wait and standing in line, however if you have a little princess who wants to go, she will definitely enjoy it. There was an area called the Bow Room which I believe has a bar. We definitely need to go back and try that out. But this place is decorated very well and its theme was well put together. This is a pretty nice place. Go check it out!

My friends and I were in line since 8:00 p.m. ish and they close at 10 p.m. My plan was to order the cinnamon sugar donuts, a coffee latte. However, right when it was 9:40 p.m. the staff said they ran out of the donuts and they also put up a sign. At 9:50 p.m. they said they were only selling what they had on display. It was definitely not worth the time. I ended up not buying anything because I felt it was not cool that they had everyone wait just for what they had on display. Who knows how long they have had those items there too. My friend ended up buying a lemonade since she thought she didn't wait in line just not to get anything which was the mentality I had but since they have a cut off time I didn't want to spend my money on a business that doesn't care about their customer service. As we were on our way out I asked an employee if they have a cut off time that they stop serving drinks (donuts) etc and she said yes and I am why don't they let us know especially the people who will not make it on their cut off time. She said she didn't know but that is just how it is but with an attitude. I guess it's all about the money and paying for the brand just like a lot of the businesses (since people's logic is to buy something due to waiting in line for so long). I do NOT recommend this spot and suggest you support small mom and pop shops or small businesses that actually care about their customer service and providing good/fresh items.

This is a really fun spot for cute merch and cute food. The donut machine was broken when we visited, but the staff were very patient with us and helped us pick out an alternative. The coffee art is really cute, but the drink itself wasn’t particularly special. The milk teas were pretty good, though, so I’d recommend those over the coffee for flavor. I also got the strawberry cake, which was a good size for splitting amongst the three of us. The cake was a little firm from refrigeration, and I wish there had been more strawberry inside, but it was decent enough for a sweet snack. I also really liked the area this store is located in. There’s lots of space for sitting, walking, and eating.

My mom booked us a Tea Time in their Tea room and it was honestly the cutest thing ever!!!! From what I heard you have to book in advance but honestly its so worth it! Tea time was around $60 a person but included everything. Alcohol is the only thing that is additional during this time. From the food to the tea everything was perfect! I cant wait to hopefully go back again in the future!

I've been to the cafe before for the counter, and they have really good drinks, desserts, and merch available. Line can get long so be aware. We went to the Bow Room yesterday for tea, and I would say that it was a 5 star experience thanks to the service and the enjoyable food. I've seen people say the costs are high but they're about average for an afternoon tea. There's an 18% gratuity added automatically but no clarification on if that goes directly to the servers. All in all really enjoyable. I took off a star because I wish management would do a better job with the bow room reservations and communication. It took a bit to find how to reserve because the link was either broken or temporarily down. Resy kept having errors and telling me nothing was available if I switched dates, even though reloading would reveal there were reservations free. Phone number doesn't work and Facebook won't reply to messages. When you arrive it's hard to tell what to do - you have to stand by the door and they'll come out to check occasionally for arrivals but nothing clearly states that (There's just a "check in here" sign on the wall). I think it would make the experience a lot better even just to have a sign explaining.
