The best Mediterranean food in Tulsa. The awards and recognition on the wall, backs that statement up! Sam is the man! My wife chose the Greek Village Salad with Falafel. A delicious vegie combination tossed with a perfect house made dressing, pita, three large Falafels crowned with hummus. I had the dinner portion Kafta Kabob. This fabulous meal started with a fresh bowl of tabouli. An award-winning fresh salad of parsley, onion and tomato. It was stunning, unbelievably delicious. Then there was the Char grilled, meaty, seasoned Kafta Kabobs. Wow! It just keeps getting better. With that was the perfect Baba ghanoush. It was done right. Smoky background flavor, butter creamy smooth in texture and enough fresh garlic to provide a little bite. Magnificent meals. Before we left, I talked to Sam about the Chicken Kabob. He explained that it was cooked with three different types of pepper sauce, fiery and flavorful. My next meal here! I have tried many Greek, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants in Tulsa, Helen of Troy is the best.

This place is the best! The food is delicious with generous portions, the atmosphere is comfortable and the owner is exceptional. If you haven’t tried Helen of Troy please do, 5 stars all around!

This is a casual cafe with very chill vibes in the Farm Shopping Center. We were actually over there trying to go to Margaret's German restaurant (unexpectedly closed again) and ended up here. Glad we did! The owner is very friendly and takes good care of you. Everything we had was great, I really liked my gyro pizza. And it was a very inexpensive dinner for two. All told, a successful (accidental) venture and we'll be back.

Helen of Troy used to be at 66th and Lewis and now they are near 51st Sheridan. Being a gyros lover, thought to try them this time. The owner was friendly as I entered the store. I was really surprised seeing them selling gyros for 5.99 as I haven’t seen any other greek restaurants in Tulsa do that. I also ordered a greek side salad for $3. It was a decent lunch. Maybe the quantity in gyros sandwich as a whole was less compared to other stores but still it was very much worth the price. Loved the flavor of both the sandwich and salad. Usually other Mediterranean places pour the tzatziki sauce over the gyros meat on sandwiches and mix it but here they give the sauce separately so we can pour over the meat as we want which was interesting. I think I will be coming back. Hope they keep the same prices😀

Man, this place was super affordable. Super tasty...the chef clearly has a love for food and cheffing, and it really creates a five star atmosphere. This would probably be $20 in Austin.

Sam was a delight. He helped us decide what to order and didn't try to upsell us. He actually talked us into smaller meals. Thank goodness. The Greek salad was amazing. I love a well-chopped salad. The Tabouli was some of the best I've had. Less bulgar wheat so it was more like a condiment. The spicy hummus was outstanding and the warm pita bread was spot on. The gyro meat was thin and juicy.

Nice and friendly owner....! My chicken and lamb kebab was just wonderful. The baba ganush was mouth watering. I liked the Humus, pita bread all felt homemade, authentic, fresh and well marinated food. My only complaint was that the falafel was raw in the middle not properly fried. That's why it's 4 starts instead of 5.

Had heard about this place and was in the area after running an errand to the bank of America nearby at 11am. Small menu but not a problem. Better to do a few things really well rather than many things poorly. Ordered lunch portion gyro dinner served with baba ghanoush and tzatziki sauce rice and a piece of pita bread and a kafta kabob sandwich. Gryo meat was tasty with good amount of crisp to it. It was served over a rice that was lacking in flavor. Pouring the tzatziki sauce over it helped pep it up. The baba ghanoush however was amazing. It is pureed roasted eggplant and tahini. One of the best I have had. This is a stand out 5 star item everyone should try. Kafta kabob sandwich was very good. The vegetables were fresh and the kafta kabob meat was amazing. This is what I look for in Mediterranean food. A strong spicy punch full of flavor wonderfully contrasted by the cool tzatziki sauce. Only one person was working so best to go early before they get busy. Pricing is very affordable. You could go everyday for lunch and grab a sandwich and not break the bank. My new go to place for a Mediterranean meal. Going to have to try more items in the future.
