Heber Valley Railroad - Tourist attraction in Heber City - 450 S 6th W, USA

Heber Valley Railroad does a fun Christmas or in this case post Christmas train ride that is geared for children. We did the themed post Christmas train as an extended family and had a great time once things got moving. We were in the first car which was a first class one that had sitting on the sides in comfy leather seats and the middle was open which was nice for a large group (20 people). We talked and had some fun with the staff on the ride. It does start off slow while you get your chocolate chip cookie (very good from a place in Midway) and then a small cup of good hot chocolate. This was all after a short move on the train. The train overall does not travel far and ends toward a small North Poll set with Santa standing on a platform as you roll by. They have a dancing team come for a little and it is mainly the cars elf staff being your entertainment. At the end they give you a nice metal mug and when Santa gets to your car a reindeer bell in a nice red bag. Overall a fun experience for all but especially for those younger than teens.

Took the family for the polar express experience. It was enjoyable for the tiniest people to the grandparents. Beautiful scenery, fun interactive employees. GREAT cookies! We also got free hot chocolate that was a little cold but it was still good. The building also has a cute little gift shop

We just completed the Polaris Express in the Comit Car with our 7 month old and 2 year old and would highly recommend doing this for anyone with small children for the gifts, cookies, hot chocolate, comfortable couches, heaters. From the authentic experience, the views, the staff, and details it is worth every penny. Be sure to sit on the left side of the train if wanting the best views during the ride! We purchased our tickets in July for this past weekend and would for sure recommend booking in July again!

Did the polar Express with the grandkids...super fun!!! Awesome cookies, good hot chocolate, lots of singing and dancing. Our Hostess Laney and her elves were super with the kids. And, of course, Santa was incredible!!! Would definitely do it again, or one of the many others. If I had to change something I'd change the song choice for the dancing and sing along. But it was still fun.

We had a group of 8 ride the train last night and had a great time. The price was very reasonable and we had a lot of fun mostly due to the two young employees who were entertained us with corny jokes and dance party music. Courtney and Makay made the trip more than just a ride up to the halfway point and then back to the train station. I was impressed with their maturity and confidence. The train cars were clean and comfortable. Overall probably the least expensive entertainment and fun available in the area.

We did the Polar Express with our 2 - and 9 year old kids, and they loved it. Please note that this train is called the Heber Creeper for a reason (i.e., it's slow), but all the activities in the train make for nice outings as a family. The kids that were hosts, elves, and daughters of Santa were great. The chocolate chip cookie was pretty good, and the hot cocoa was okay. The Santa was en point! Excellent Santa! And we loved the Santa's village at the end. Overall, we had a great time! Note that some cars are quite chilly and others quite warm during the winter months when they do the Polar Express trains. They allow the windows to be opened (with the hosts' help), so just be prepared to bundle upjust in case you need to add or shed layers.

Historic railroad that does scenic rides now and special event rides. We rode the Halloween train. Halloween music, kfun little performances by zombies, mummies, Dracula, The Sanderson Sisters. The train is haunted, and you have to solve a riddle to not be cursed to ride forever. It's a 90-minute out and back ride. It's worth the price. It was a lot of fun for the whole family.

Fantastic! We had a wonderful time. Their various "theme rides" sound amazing for the whole family. Kids have a blast on this train!
