What a great place! My 12 yr. old boy loves his birthday gift at Heavy Metal Playground. The staff was so helpful and kind with step by step instructions. Dave was our boy's personal instructor. Dave Rocks!!! What a fun time! Thank you Heavy Metal Playground for providing such a wonderful service.

I could not be more satisfied and happy with this experience. My husband is a huge fan of excavators and heavy equipment and I have been looking for a place like this for a long time for his birthday and I couldn't find almost any options. We happened to be in the DC area and drove 2 hrs to Heavy Metal Playground so he can have the experience. I have to say this has gone above and beyond our expectations. The instructor was very friendly and patient on newbies. He was exceptional. I recommend the Shook Me All Night Long package because you get to play for a whole hour and trust me, you can never get enough of this.... Wooow. I will definitely go again even though I live 1500 miles away. Thank you for the amazing adventure.

What kid, of any age, doesn't want to try driving and using a construction vehicle (here a digger). My wife and I wanted to take my 11 year old grandson to do this, because he has always been fascinated by construction equipment. Then my wife, daughter, and I each independently decided we wanted to try it too. With excellent instruction, we did, and we had an amazing time learning to dig, stack tires, drop basketballs in a basket using the digger, and run ab obstacle course with it. Everyone smiled broadly for the whole hour we played. This is an expensive outing, but worth it if within your means.

Definitely worth the money for the experience. Went with my son and it was a fantastic time. Friendly completion - so I will bring my wife and daughter next time. The instructors were awesome! Really good dudes. Definitely get there about 15 minutes early for the safety brief and instructions. We had a lot of fun!

Brought my 11yo nephew for his birthday. He had a blast. The guys running it were so amazing at telling us what to expect and working with him. Thank you for the amazing experience.

This was the best experience we have had in a long time!! The kids absolutely loved it the staff was amazing!!! I cannot say enough about the guys running the event so friendly and so much fun to be around. We will be going back again!!!

I work for Volvo / Mack Trucks and my Quality team came here for a team building day. It was a great time. We had our lunch delivered here, the weather was perfect. The mini excavators were really fun to run and the coaches on the ground were very good at giving instructions. I do not think I would be able to do what they did. If you have never operated any type of construction equipment, you will be in good hands. We had a large group so it took some time but it was fun to watch the competition between our team mates.

Operating heavy equipment was a bucket list item for my wife. We drove over 780 miles round trip to HM and every mile was worth it. Mike and Dave are friendly and gracious hosts and awesome instructors. The activities were safe but very exciting and will test your newfound operating skills. I can’t say enough about how cool this activity is. I searched high and low and couldn’t find anything on the east coast that comes close. I highly recommend it
