Hearsay On The Green - New American restaurant in Houston - 1515 Dallas St, USA

Very nice restaurant and the food was way better than I expected. I started with the buffalo 🦐, and this was super good. Since I was already in shrimp mode I then had the bacon wrapped 🦐 which was to die for! Next time I'll probably embarrass myself and just get a double order of the bacon wrapped 🦐. The service was ok, it seemed hard to get the servers attention, however what I believe was a manager came a few times so that made up for the server. Nice place, great food, will for sure come back. 👏Bacon 👏Wrapped 👏 Shrimp

Stopped in for a late dinner not fully sure what to expect, but everything came out great! Both the host and our server provided awesome service, and the food was better than we expected. Looking forward to our next visit!

I went for a quick and late meal on my own and felt super welcomed. I was well attended and had a delicious salad but what was the best part was the roasted poblano soup! It was literally life changing. I have never had this type of soup before and it impacted me so much I am now trying to make it at home. Highly recommend!

This restaurant can get packed quickly especially after events happening in the area. Nice modern atmosphere. I love the chandelier in there. Our waiter was slow but I didn’t mind too much because I like to enjoy my meal with feeling like I’m being rushed. The food was good. I had the salmon and really enjoyed it, my friend got the shrimp and grits, the shrimp was wrapped in bacon can’t go wrong there but the grits weren’t as creamy as she likes them to be, and my other friend had the lamb chops no complaints there. Everything had a lil kick to it but not too much. The cream brûlée was really good (one of the best I’ve had) and the bread pudding wasn’t bad either. I like the portion size not too little and not too much. The menu is fairly priced. I can’t wait to try them for brunch.

We visited downtown Houston for an extended vacation and will remember Hearsay On The Green as a highlight of the trip. It is hard to find good braised short rib in Michigan where we live, but this meal was delicious! It was perfectly cooked and the cheesy grits & Brussels sprouts were awesome accompaniments. Our server was Aaron and he was kind, attentive, and easy to talk to. The atmosphere was a nice mixture of upscale and cozy.

Phenomenal experience. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was perfection. Great menu, great service (thank you, Diego!!), food to die for, all in an upscale modern ambiance. Will definitely be coming back.

Best poblano pepper cream, all the main plates that we ordered were tasty, good drinks, the only thing that you can improve is the dessert we ordered the s’more one and the bread was really dry, our waitress Juan the best all the staff very friendly beautiful chandelier this place is a hidden gem

First time here and the food was amazing, managed to get a table without a reservation 👏🏽 I had the Double pork chop with sweet potatoes and green beans! Soooo good!! 😋 Also had a Crème brúlèe for dessert. I wish they had this spot in Austin! Definitely will be back next time I'm in Houston 🙌🏾👌🏽
