Really nice trail for dogs! Dogs are permitted on the north side of the trail. Perfect place to watch sunset. It can get very windy.
Wonderful place to walk or ride your bike. Can be very windy. Sometimes the marsh has a strong smell. Good place to observe birds, the Bay, tides, learn and think about rising seas, weather, Climate Change, wildlife, our role in protecting people and planet. Not many signs with information about wildlife but there are a few. Parking lot at start of trail is free.
Amazing shoreline in the east Bay Area. No smell like other shorelines. Views are beautiful during sunset. You have to walk a bit to get to shoreline from parking though. Plenty of parking spaces. Overall really good place!
Great trail for walking, biking or bird watching.
Very nice place for a walk or hike, its more plain walk with beautiful views of bay n san Mateo bridge. Parking is plenty, not too crowded. A little smelly when walking close to bay as it is marshy area and its expected, but not that bad. Otherwise very calming, peaceful walk with nice views. And no parking or entry fee.
Great views of the bay! Highly windy make sure to come prepared. Good flat trails for a walk, run or biking. San Francisco, Oakland airport and Bay bridge can be seen. Having a binocular would be better. So much to watch around. Parking closes by 5pm but there is some parking outside too.
We took an hour walk here and there were a lot of trails we did not get to explore. There is a nice paved path asking the river, excellent for running and biking. It can get pretty full, but the side paths of dirt and gravel make space. Unfortunately folks don't like to pick up there dig poop, so watch your feet.
Just a peaceful walk on the bay with the wild life the birds water and not a lot of people, most people are wearing mask when they near each other. They have a wierd dog restriction on one side. One side of the park allows dogs and the other side don't but there is no sign where the line is that permits dogs so a lot of people ignore the signs. It's not a lot of dogs ever, but they do have some owners who think their dogs don't bite and they let them off their leash, which I hate. Overall it's a great place to ride a bike Stroll with family and friends and wear your mask. I hope you all enjoy it. It's like getting away from the city in the city... You can often hear yourself thinking it's so peaceful. Correction: there is a sign where the dog limits stop. It's down by the water, at a little bridge over the water spillway going in the other direction. It's a sign saying no dogs.
