I had the privilege of working at this venue, and it's safe to say that it was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who treated me with kidness and gave me free range of this stunning histroical property. Their hospitality was truly outstanding, and it made my job so much easier and enjoyable. The venue itself is truly stunning, and I was blown away by the attention to detail that went into every aspect of its design. From the beautiful architecture to the exquisite decor, every element of this venue exudes elegance and sophistication. I was truly impressed by the beauty of the space, and I felt inspired to create some truly breathtaking moments for my clients. If you're looking for the perfect wedding spot, I would highly recommend this venue without hesitation. The staff's dedication to creating a magical experience for their guests is evident in everything they do, and I have no doubt that any couple who chooses this venue for their wedding will be thrilled with their decision.

We had a wonderful tour of the Hay House. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. She pointed out so many different things we would not have noticed. I would love to go back when the special tours of the very top are taking place. They do have an elevator for handicap as well as handicap parking.

The tour was great, young man very knowlageable of the house, construction, furniture, art, and invited questions on any topic before we moved to the next room. Even my 8 year old son enjoyed, and asked if we could visit another "old house" , therefore I must give it 5 stars!

One of the absolute best tours we have ever had. The extremely knowledgeable lady that took us through the house was a gifted storyteller. She had stories for every room that were funny and informative. The house was fantastic as well, very amazing rooms throughout the home that will definitely wow you. But without the tour guide it would have been no where near as impactful! We went on the 1pm tour 5/13/23 highly recommended the visit

This was the only sight seeing I did much of while in Macon. It was SO amazing! They do tours on the hour and our tour guide was so friendly! I think it was well priced for the tour and they have good souvenir options in the gift shop. I was amazed at how the kept things in tact and clean. Thoroughly impressed and would reccomend!

We visited a house last month. Having visited and toured numerous historic homes, I would say this one is well worth visiting if you are in or near Macon. The house has several interesting architectural features and an interesting history. From top to bottom, there are seven floors. The tour that we took was the general tour and we saw the first three floors and the basement which is very interesting. Some of the rooms contain furnishings, art, and accessories from the original and second owners. However, some of the furnishings are representations of what might have been there during the time that the first two families lived in the house. This is a very large home and more restoration is in its future. We would certainly recommend a visit if you are interested in historic homes and beautiful architecture.

Beautiful home. During the excellent guided tour, learned a lot about the former owners of this stately home.
