Overall, a pleasant stay with a reasonable price. Great for a dad-son weekend getaway. The hotel was wonderfully located for us, with plenty of excellent food options within a very short drive. My complaints for this location are brief, but I believe important. First - check-in is 4pm - not ideal if one wants to settle for a bit after a long drive to get there mid-afternoon. Second - and I can only speak to our room (227) - the guestroom was neat and clean but not presentable. There was wallpaper peeling off the walls in multiple locations, e very seam was curled up at least a little, and above the bed was a section that was pulled at least a foot down. Not ideal at all.

This place was absolutely disgusting I've lived 42 years on this earth and have never gotten lice until I stayed at this place. Pool area is gross tiles all broken around the window, Floor's were absolutely gross room was dirty toilet didn't flush and ran all night after calling and no one coming to the room to resolve the issue I ended up shutting the water to the toilet off. About the only decent thing was the coffee and the location.

Please believe the reviews... The room we had smelled utterly disgusting..imagine the stench of lingering musty shoes, fried onions and oil..that is what our room smelled like. Yes, the ceiling has discolored spots, yes the wallpaper is peeling, yes, the tub is drain is clogged with hair so the water pools, yes, the tiles in the bathroom floor were crumbling, yes, the drawer and closet doors don't fully close and may be missing handles, yes, there are stains on the carpet and cloth furniture and you may find a pin left in the sofa, Yes, you may have to use the plunger to flush the toilet after peeing and using toilet paper. Yes, breakfast is nothing to rush for. I did bring my concerns to light and was told "Management would be told" If location is a must it will do but there are better options in a few minutes driving ...I have to believe it can only get better.

My stay here at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham on August 28th-30th was very pleasant and quiet. The customer service was very good. The staff here was very friendly. The breakfast was okay. I wasn’t expecting anything more than what they provided. The location was adequate which I like because it was near everything I needed access to. There was plenty of things to do and see. My room was very quiet. I barely heard anything from anyone in the adjacent rooms, which allowed me to get a restful sleep. The local attractions were minutes away from my hotel. Downtown Buffalo was only 13 miles away. The hotel does need a few renovations done. Everything looks dated. However, I did enjoy my stay.

For $180 a night, we were very disappointed in this hotel. Right off the bat, the man at the front desk was stand offish and rude. He was on his cell phone FaceTiming with someone the entire time he was checking us in. When we arrived to our room, the wallpaper was falling off the wall, sheets were stained, and felt very run down overall for the price. The bed is rock hard, making a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel difficult. Stay away. There are better hotels to stay in and may be worth extra money if you’re needing somewhere for more than one night.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for the past three days. The rooms are a little outdated, but they reassure they are getting a remodel. I took my kids here to go into the pool first day we got here. Pool was looking a little rough then we met the maintenance guy, Larry, and he reassured us of how the pool chemicals are and it is safe to go in and clean back next morning after Larry was working on Pool day before and now the pool looks immaculate will be back. Hope to see these remodels soon.

The floors were disgusting, the bedding was stained, the wallpaper was falling off. There was food and makeup on the bedroom doors. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. Dirty dishes were put away. The stove top was disgusting and broken.. there was trash left under the tv, the pullout couch, and the bed. There was hair left in the shower, and soaking tub... And the tile floor in the kitchen has grout breaking that my kids kept picking up.. the management never got back to me, and then only refunded our pet fee when the room was disgusting.. should've been refunded the whole stay, or at least a night... Never again....

Wet carpet in room, not enough towels, grimy carpet, key cards continuously stopped working. Breakfast area was chaos and remained dirty all day (came in to eat takeout dinner with my family, and the remains of breakfast was visible on the ground 12 hours later). Saw a well-dressed older gentleman cutting his fingernails in the restaurant area, letting the nail clippings fall onto the carpet. Ok, that last one isn’t the hotel’s fault. Room was large, beds were ok, pull-out couch may have been from Goodwill.|Look, no doubt the owners are trying hard, but it seems like they may be overwhelmed at the moment.
