Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Kingsland I-95/Naval Base Area - Hotel in Kingsland - 1323 E King Ave Left at Exit 3 off, I-95, USA

We booked this hotel for a week and were pleasantly surprised by the hot breakfast provided every morning. The room was cozy and clean and the workout room was well stocked. It is off season so we didn't get to use the pool or hot tub (outside) but they looked nice for a summer trip. The staff was always so kind and our favorite morning desk ladies even remembered us by name. The cleaning staff was kind and thorough and we always felt like honored guests. We would gladly stay here again when in town.

This Wyndham property off I-95 is among the worst we have seen. The front desk staff is one of the few bright spots. Heather was very helpful but confessed she has never been in any of the rooms. The room smelled moldy/smoky. There was mold and dirt on the inside of the windows. The one night pet fee of $50 is out of line with other Wyndham properties that are “pet friendly”. No kleenex, just an empty box. One tiny piece of soap. Kitchen utensils scarce (see photo). Ice machine on first floor out of order. Grounds and parking lot trashy. Scrambled eggs were cold, but free Breakfast offering was ample. We will not stay there again though.

The room smelled like mold and was definitely outdated. The stopper in the shower of our room didn’t work so the only options were to take a bath or kneel down and shower that way. However, the space and layout of the room was amazing. They claim to be a pet friendly hotel, but when my dog was sitting in the lobby area we were asked she be removed as she was in the breakfast area on the other side of the lobby. The customer service was lackluster to say the least, but the breakfast served was good. Bed was soft and pillows were fluffy. Wouldn’t recommend for a long stay but if you need a place for the night I don’t see why not.

This is not the best hotel to reside in. Came home from Christmas break and decided to stay here with my family. There was no linen in the room at all for the sofa bed. There was dirty clothing left in a plastic bag in the closet, the shower knob was absolutely disgusting. The toilet is running nonstop all night due to it being broken, the kitchenette sink is dirty and the outside of the refrigerator is dirty. There is only one remote in the room. For the price, I definitely expected better. I would not book here again. It almost ruined our Christmas vacation. May check out in the morning.

We were very happy with this hotel. The breakfast has lots of hot and cold choices. The front desk ladies were so welcoming. The cleaning staff did a great job in the room. The weight room has many options!

Great clean place to stay. Large rooms with sitting area (living rm), kitchen w/full size refrig, microwave, stove, dishwasher, kitchen sink, bathroom w walk in shower & fullsize bedroom. I've lived in 1 bedroom apts that were smaller. Checkin was breeze with very helpful receptionist. Breakfast was very nice. Had large selection of breakfast items.

This was the worst hotel that I have ever seen in my life. There was a hot tub in the living room. The bathroom has a TOILET and It is across from the kitchen and the bedroom was just as disgusting. I was devastated. No one should sleep in this disgusting hotel. When you walk in the hotel it smells horrible. The room was horrible and when I asked for another room, the second room given had been occupied and hadn’t been cleaned. There were holes in the walls and open tiles. Anything could have crawling out of these holes. It was just disgusting. No one should have to pay anything to stay in this hotel. Don’t waste your money PLEASE! They need a complete renovation! I can’t express to you enough how disgusting this hotel is; you would know as soon as you walk in the door by the smell that you do not need to stay here! No one should bring their children here to stay in this nasty disgusting hotel. I cannot complain about, the clerk and his services he gave me excellent customer service, and attempted to assist me during this devastating time. But I am warning you this is not a four-star hotel. I don’t know how or why it jumped quickly from 3 to 4, but this is false advertisement. Believe me when I say if you don’t believe nothing else believe me when I say this is not a four-star hotel, they need to get this place together and CLEAN IT UP! No one should pay the money they’re charging for this hotel. For the record I saw two rooms and both of them was disgusting. The owner should be ashamed of themselves. Ask for a tour before checking into this hotel. This hotel may be of your caliber, but it’s not mine. Sanitary conditions are important to me. If it’s not for you then this may be the hotel for you.

The hotel was great , the room was nicely laid out. It was very close to many eateries but the road layout was very strange. To find the hotel was a little hard to find without a GPS otherwise it was a excellent place to stay highly recommended
