Hawthorn Coffee - Coffee shop in San Diego - 3019 Adams Ave, USA

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. I found their toasts to be a little pricey but it was still very tasty. I wish that for the price of them, we got a little more bacon and that the eggs were not overcooked, but still good non the less. I found my Jasmin tea to be a little over steeped but the tunesand service made up for it. Would def return to try more roasts to see if there is more value.

Tasty coffee, neat place. We were visiting San Diego from Mexico and I wanted a specialty coffee, so thanks to Google maps for sending me here. We just tried beverages, no food, but the coffee was so delicious. The nitro cold brew was so refreshing and the latte salted maple was foamy, warm and so balanced between salty and sweet... I could drink a gallon of it. The place is neat, small, well organized and the staff is gentle. A super yes, we will come back.

Some very legit coffee and very top notch baristas. The store is quaint and cute, small yet able to hold a crowd. The espresso is delicious! The jade green tea is nice too. In terms of food, I’ve only tried the chia pudding so far, but it was very tasty. Everything here seems so precise and calculated, it’s just intentional coffee all the way, and the quality is undeniable. Great job, Hawthorn! Everyone should try a cup.

The coffee at Hawthorn Coffee Shop is undoubtedly some of the best I've had. The rich aroma and smooth taste of the coffee beans make for a truly unforgettable cup of coffee. In addition to their fantastic coffee, the bagels and pastries at Hawthorn Coffee Shop are also top-notch. The bagels are perfectly chewy and come in a variety of flavors, from classic plain to everything bagels topped with seeds and spices. The pastries are equally delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from, including croissants, scones, cookies and brownies. It's clear that they take pride in their work and are passionate about providing the best possible experience for their customers. Overall, this is definitely a coffee shop that should not be missed.

I guess I finally found the best latte in San Diego. Ok, it might not look that great in my picture BUT man they make one of the best vanilla lattes. I tried lattes with the different syrups they have and they are all amazing. By the way, their almond croissant is awesome too and prices are reasonable compared to others. Please contact me if you find a vanilla latte that is better than this one in San Diego 😁. Note: this review does not apply to their breakfast sandwiches.

Will probably need to find a new place even though I love! There’s never any seats and even though i myself get some work done there occasionally, last time one small table had 4 laptops and it felt like it’s gotten a lot crazier. I’m so so glad to see the success but now with folks driving over from other areas, us folks who live next door can’t really enjoy. Perhaps they can expand into the old Twiggs spot! 🤞🏽

Awesome coffee shop w super knowledgeable and friendly staff. Got myself a flat white and reminds me of the epic ones I used to have in Australia! All pastries looked bomb and their spot is stocked with all your coffee making essentials. Def coming back
