Great hiking with beautiful views. It was cloudy and gray the day we hiked here, but we still really enjoyed it. Lots of different trails to explore with various terrain options.
Free tours 3 times a day, an amazing view of Lake Superior and Duluth, and a stand where you can get light snacks and drinks at the entrance.
Most of the trails are rough, however, so if you're used to Enger Park or other somewhat easier trails be cautious when you go here. The trails here are marked by color often so it is very easy to stay on the path as well.
There are also portable restrooms throughout the area and parking is along the sides of the wide roads.
I will warn you that there isn't any"entrance" you just park alongside the road and more or less pick a trail you want to hike. Don't expect prestine trails that are well groomed. Bring good hiking shoes. The views are amazing and breathtaking.
A beautifull view of all of the trees in Duluth MN. The trails are perfect for exercise and a good time with your dog. 1000 stars.
Lovely place. Check out the berch and ash trees
Superior is a natural funnel for raptors and other migratory birds. The nature center hosts an annual weekend viewing with lots of classes and learning opportunities. Several miles of trails too
Multiple use trail. Snowmobile trail is awesome. Skyline is beautiful
Great very helpful staff!! Not many birds the day I visited, just poor timing on my part. Tremendous overlook of the Duluth area tho!! Worth the view alone 👌

Beautiful park, beautiful views! Really nice hiking trails. I am even impressed by how nice the restrooms are! The Enger Tower is a fun experience. Feels like an old castle tower. Very fun and a must see if visiting Duluth.
Super fun trails! Trails could be a bit technical for beginners. I like the fact that most are two way trails so you can ride the trails going down or up. I was challanged on my rock climbing and descending skills... Fun!
Gichi-ode' Skiing park is where the heart of this city starts. There are no playgrounds, barbeques, restrooms, etc. Only recently when the 'city' wanted more tourist dollars did they 'give' this land, Chief Buffalo's, the name that 'they' gave. Me p
Great place to lay on the beach just a stones throw from the city. Beautiful sunrise views & great drop-in place for kayaking to cruise over to the channel for big boat watching. Quiet parking lot, not huge so that's both a plus & minus depending on
Wild State Cider has so many delicious options to choose from! Hands down one of my top favorite cidery. So delicious! I didn't try them but they also have a variety of THC infused beverages if that's more your thing!
