We stayed here during Memorial Day weekend. We had booked directly through their website. When we checked in they said we had to pay a $75 deposit. We paid it. Stayed the night and checked out the next day. We left the room in great shape and never received a refund on our deposit. It was a great location, we had a great view of the beach. The bed sucked, was super hard and the mattress should have been replaced a decade ago. I am super annoyed they didn’t refund the deposit. They never contacted us that they were keeping the deposit for any reason. If you book here plan on spending an extra $75 at check in and never seeing the money again. When we checked out, we asked about the deposit. They said they had to inspect the room before issuing a refund. They likely cleaned the room (not much needed) and kept the money without reaching out to us. The property is run down, the pool was nice, the room was just ok, furniture was old and beat up. The sliding door to the balcony required extensive effort to open and close. I can’t recommend this place in good faith. If you pay a deposit, make sure you pester them until they return it, because they won’t automatically.

This place was probably the best spot on the beach...in 1975. Since then I think they forgot the maintenance. The door lock did not work and so we literally had to go to the front desk and have the maintenance man walk with us up to our room each time we wanted to get in our own room. The ceiling was leaking and there was a puddle outside our room the entire stay we were there. Every time we stepped in the elevator we were taking our lives in our own hands. The people were nice but you can tell they weren't given the tools they needed to be successful at maintaining the experience.

We had accommodations here this past weekend for the Daytona races, talk about disgust…. The first room we had the room wasn’t even cleaned no washcloths and a hole in the ceiling then to top it off, My daughter went to get in bed, and there was a junk ring in the bed which meant the room was not cleaned. I decided to switch rooms, well the pics are below. The staff was awful all had RBFs with major attitudes even if you asked a question you received an answer with an attitude. I didn’t see one housekeeper the whole two days I stayed there. Hawaiian Inn was not worth a dollar let alone 350.00 for a 2-night stay.

This was the worst room. The toilet had black around the rim and at the bottom outside of toilet was nasty. The bed had a headboard that you could rock back and forth. The mattress I think came over on the mayflower. You sit on the side and sink. It had a great view of the ocean. But even that I would not stay there ever again. We stayed one night and requested a refund for the rest. They did give us a refund.

Unit Owner needs to step it up! We were in room 506. Resort was fine, unit was adequate. We enjoyed the pool area and the tiki bar. Prices at the tiki bar were reasonable. Was a long walk to get to an ice machine as they were all on the same side of the long building. Would be great if management could spread them out. |Our unit was supposed to have a full size fridge except we learned the day we checked in that it broke and they added a small hotel fridge. A little disappointing but remarkably, the big fridge started working again on our 2nd day, so we were happy. What was really disappointing is that they unit owners did not provide what they should have in the kitchen. We reserved a 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen because we were planning to cook and eat in a lot. It did have 1 pot, 1 pan and some silverware/serving utensils. It would have been nice if the unit owner provided coffee filters for our coffee maker. A plate to eat from would have been nice too. or maybe some glasses...coffee cups etc. Nothing was provided to eat out of except for 2 or 3 small cereal bowls. We had to go shopping (for plates, glasses, coffee cups, filters, paper towels etc.) on our first day just so we could eat. We should not have had to do this. | Unit owner failed there. We did let the front desk know this and they did give us a few paper plates, but hopefully, the unit owners have stocked the unit better for the next guests. The floors were a little sandy so we had to keep our shoes on, but glad the floors were tile instead of carpet.

My family of three and I stayed at this hotel the night after Christmas, having often seen it bustling with guests during the summer months. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a significant disappointment. While the price for an oceanfront room with a balcony was reasonable, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, the lobby felt uninviting, and the staff seemed robotic, lacking warmth or personality. We took the elevator to our floor, which led us to a narrow, yellow hallway that was both unwelcoming and had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of urine and mold. Along the way, we passed an ice machine that appeared to be in dire need of descaling and cleanliness, deterring us from using it. After finally reaching our room, we encountered issues with the key card, which required multiple attempts to unlock the door. While the oceanfront view was breathtaking, several factors within the room quickly became irritating. The furniture was old, chipped, and outdated, with the two queen beds on wheels that rolled away on the white tile floor. Initially amusing, this soon became frustrating when I attempted to sit against the headboard. Additionally, the toilets were uncomfortably low to the ground, making them difficult to use for taller individuals. The shower showed signs of mildew in the grout, and the tub had a gritty texture. We were provided with only half a roll of toilet paper and no spare roll. The room safe was inoperative due to a lack of power, and the batteries in the remote were dead. Upon taking a shower, we discovered that there were no bath towels available—only hand towels—forcing my son-in-law to go to the front desk to request more. The front desk staff appeared to be uninformed about the area and could not provide explanations for the issues we encountered, such as the beds on wheels. The pool area was under construction following recent hurricanes, and there was no immediate beach access without having to walk around the side of the building. Additionally, the hotel’s front and side lots were poorly lit, causing safety concerns. While the oceanfront balcony was a nice feature, it was marred by the smell of marijuana and cigarettes drifting onto the space. Overall, the hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, with hallways requiring thorough cleaning, sanitization, and repainting. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. December 2023

We have such a wonderful experience every time we come to Hawaiian inn. No matter the occasion just a family vacation, Jeep beach, bike week or just the heck of it trip. Marissa and Taylor always go above and beyond to make sure our stay is amazing. The pool and bar area are always so clean and the bartenders are always so friendly and welcoming. We look forward to our stay every time. #MarionJeepers.

Great little park. No signage on the road so it’s kinda “hidden” between the hotels. Decent sized FREE parking lot - I’d say 15-18 cars. Easy access. Restroom facilities that were CLEAN. Some green space if you need it. An outdoor shower. Wor
