Haven Inn - Featured Reviews (111)
Went despite the reviews. I minded my own business,so I didn't see or hear anything that would disrupt my night except paranoia from the reviews. It was quiet when I arrived at 2 am I was greatful to get a room since EVERYWHERE was booked because it was St.Patrick's weekend he acted hesitant to give me a room but he was still friendly I would say. I had an 11 hour trip for my mother's funeral. I asked for late checkout and they approved it everyone was pretty friendly at checkout. Room was clean. Fridge and microwave was clean. Ac and tv worked. I saw one bug on the floor and no bed bugs. Comfortable bed. Only negative is I couldn't take a shower(rust)until I checked in at the red roof end(now they had more bugs than the Haven and no clean towels) I had to keep the room longer so I could take a shower before getting back on the road..I expected more from Red Roof. Check out the Haven for yourself it wasn't a terrible experience for me. It was only 85.00 for the night. The neighborhood isn't really their fault. Also carry some microban to these hotels people!!
To all the people who say that it’s infected with bed bugs and roaches that is not true. I stayed here last night 4/29/22 and it’s a basic hotel with basic amenities.i seen Not one bug. The room could use a deep clean and some paint but it’s worth the stay for the price! The owners/managers are AMAZING and very helpful! People get a hotel for under $100 and expect it to be the Rita Carlton! I highly recommend this place!
Completely ghetto, extremely unorganized. Entire shower was leaking and flooded my whole room. Absolutely not worth 90 dollars a day. And service there sucks. Check out time is at 10 am yet the owner comes banging on your door like the police at 9:30 am. I do not recommend this place to anybody. The first night I was there somebody got shot right in front of my door. Big, no, no, never again! 👎🙅🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫
Definitely needs updating, but this is a great place to stay if you have little money and need a bug-free place to stay. Our room has a sweet mini-fridge/freezer, comes with several chairs, a funky dresser/entertainment center that we use for food and book storage, a microwave, CABLE TV and a super cold AC (I grew up in the north, so saying anything is cold means something). Previous reviews have said the owner and his wife are unfriendly, but I think there's just a language barrier. The housekeeper is pretty awesome - she wanted to be sure I knew how to lock our finicky door, and was all around a friendly person. If you're looking for a motel in a wonderful neighborhood with no drug activity or hookers, keep looking (and good luck lol). If you need a clean place to sleep for cheap, this is it!
Friendly. The rooms was low in. But not dirty. No loud noises from other guests. The owners appear to be attentive. Seem to be some people who live there the longer than a week it seemed like it. But it is on the stroll as they call it. So be careful.
To start with, they only accept cash payments and dont give out receipts. No credit cards at all. When I asked for a receipt, the management said they were giving me a key and that's it. The rooms were extremely trashy. Nothing but the intoxicating smell of mildew and cigarette smoke coming from the room. I asked management about a broken door, they said they werent fixing anyhing. Take it or leave it. Management does not care about cleanliness or the customers safety at all. There were busted pipes coming out of the ground. Holes in the walls as well. The shower didnt work. The door was broke and didnt seal the entrance completely. The neighbors we seens doing drugs on property and prostituting outside. I paid 65 dollars a night, yet I felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. I will not be going here anymore and don't recommend anyone else going either.
Oh my, where do I start with this rats nest... I spent a night here at the Haven and it was down right nasty. The floors were dirty and cruddy, mold in the shower, stains in the sink and shower, large holes in the walls that are patched but left unpainted, cigarette burn holes everywhere, I was afraid to pull back the covers on the bed and slept for about four hours with my cloth on on top of the sheets. ||||The neighborhood is extremely seedy as well... Thugs and prostitutes everywhere. I would only recommend this place to an arsonist who might put it out of its misery.
It was okay, had the big room, it was clean but had roaches around and it seem quiet the two nights we stayed. Only thing, the guy in the office got some issues compare to his wife.
Very clean , first floor easy access , a/c blows ice chips , friendly staff , family owned and operated , premium cable channels , hot showers , refrigerator and microwave as well !!!

Gracie Martial Arts Tampa, led by Emiliano, is an exceptional place to learn the original and modern forms of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Having had the opportunity to compare it with other noteworthy schools, I found that this one particularly appeals to me.
