Haven Hotel - Fort Lauderdale Airport - Motel in Fort Lauderdale - 3001 SE 6th Ave, USA

I was looking for a hotel for a very short night and this fit the bill. ||I have stayed at top end hotels often - don’t expect the same from this or you will be bitter and disappointed. But I thought the place was retro, sweet, very helpful w my inconvenient hours, and had the bare minimum but that’s all I wanted. Better than sleeping in the airport! Everything in my room worked and was clean. I liked the simplicity - but then I travel a lot and am honestly not that picky. If you’re super picky - stay somewhere farther away from the airport or pay a lot more.

Stayed in March when college basketball (march Madness) was in town, so price for one night was $280 US. Got in late to the airport and was getting on a cruise the next day. Location for this was ideal. Shower would not get warm, so showered in cold water as I really needed one. Strong smell of bleach permeating room, which I traced to the bathroom. Keeping the door closed helped a bit. Window blinds would not work. When I pulled the sheets back to get ready for sleep, there were quite a few (I assume) human hairs, indicationg that the sheets had not been changed since the last guest. Considered trying to find another place to stay, but it was late, and I knew it would be hard to find a vacancy elsewhere. Cleaned the bed as best I could, turned bedsheet over, and managed some sleep despite the bleach fumes. Won't be going back.

Mike is so nice, the place is really affordable. And for 70 bucks at a motel it was cozy and I felt safe. It's clean and clearly cared about. It's a little old but if you want something that's not old like that then you need a hotel and not a motel. I'd come back anytime.

Positive: The location was an easy Uber/lyft ride from airport as well as downtown Ft Lauderdale. It was comfortable for our needs. Super close to cruise port. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Negative: Not much around the hotel its self. The windows had no curtains and the court yard has ¿patio¿ lights, so it seemed like dawn in the room all night. Made it hard to sleep at times. Negative: ""

Looking for a place? This is a cute and cozy place. Also most importantly CLEAN. It's a spot is convenient and the staff was so helpful. I know where to come for my next visit to Fort Lauderdale.Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

Fine hotel if you're travelling on a bit of a budget. We walked here from the airport and also walked to food establishments later in the day. rooms are not the cleanest or biggest but you get what you pay.

This is quaint little hotel tucked in between rental car companies. If you’re looking for a place to rest your head with all the amenities a typical hotel would provide, this is the place. The rooms are small, but have everything you need for a night or two in Fort Lauderdale. The rooms have been remodeled. They provide a desk area, fridge, microwave, and small coffee Keurig.

When we were dropped off by our Lyft driver, he said, this is not a very good area! Great!! Not sure how well the room had been cleaned but reeked of air freshener which gave us a headache. There was still pizza in the fridge which was never cleaned. Our smoke alarm started chirping at midnight because of needing a battery change. We did not know the owner lived there so we had not sleep. We asked for some money off and were told, NO! The free breakfast they offer; was rotten bananas, wrinkled apples and the rest was Little Debbie's etc. When my husband went to pour a coffee, a cockroach ran under the cup! WOW! Nice place!
