Great B and B. Perfect location about a mile from downtown Leavenworth. Hosts were very warm and accommodating with lots of local knowledge. Room was perfect with an extremely comfortable bed, private hot tub and great view. Had to make our own breakfast but that was a blessing because we made it when we wanted and didn’t have to commit to a time. I would definitely recommend a stay here and if we are in the area again we would stay again for sure.
Excellent communication before and during our trip. The robes were fantastic. The hot tub was already heated up for us which was great. We had milk, OJ and waffle batter waiting for us in the fridge and coffee grinds and a pot. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Overall a great b&b experience and I will gladly recommend to everyone.
Wonderful stay! The room was exceptionally clean, pretty well our first criteria. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and made themselves readily available if needed.|Our room was quiet at night (also important to us). Opening the room's patio door allowed the sound of the river in, just lovely.|The grounds we're immaculate. Beautiful grassy area off the ground floor patio. Chairs available on the grounds. Path down to the river edge.|Our room was well appointed, and in great condition. Nice bathroom with large step in shower, comfortable bed, cable TV, wifi, small refrigerator, microwave. Fireplace, private hot tub.|The breakfast was do it yourself bavarian waffles, sausage, fruit, muffins, and orange juice in the room. We appreciated this approach, as it let us have breakfast at our own pace and just ourselves. Other B&Bs we've stayed at have nice breakfasts, but in a group settings. Both have their merits, but this stay suited us nicely. With in-room prep, they also give you plates, silverware, etc. which is nice at other times too.|We've stayed at several B&Bs in the Leavenworth area, and this was excellent! We'll definitely be back.|
||This place is like a Hallmark movie. So beautiful, so comfortable. This place made our stay magical. We came here from California for my 60th birthday. I've stayed at a lot of 5-star hotels in my travels, but this is a 10-star hands down. We will be back!!! The owners are so nice, and the Alpine room was beautiful. I loved the whole place. Very relaxing to stay here and close to everything. The goodies in the room are wonderful. Thank you, Ted and Sandy!!!|

Thank you Ted and Sandy for being so welcoming and even sending us off with a sweet gift as we celebrated our first days of marriage at Haus Hanika! The property is absolutely gorgeous, we loved the make-your-own waffle breakfast setup eaten on the porch to look out at the river, and cozying up in the personal hot tub for two (we are fairly small people and it fit us perfectly). The Chalet room had a very comfortable bed and all the amenities we wanted, including kitchen basics to help us enjoy our self-made charcuterie board and wine we collected around town with a movie from your DVD collection. We also appreciated your recommendations of dinners at Andreas Keller and Larch in town, a walk through the hatchery grounds, and a hike up the Icicle Ridge trail. You made our time in Leavenworth wonderful and special, we look forward to visiting again!
This was our second stay at Haus Hanika and we were as delighted as the first time. The property is well maintained, extremely comfortable and clean, and oh so peaceful. The perfect place as we ended our trip to just stop and breathe before heading back into the real world. Highly recommend and I look forward to staying here next time we are in the area.
