Very satisfied with my visit. I had the “Damn Hot” chicken sandwich which was very juicy had a super kick with the heat, was able to bear through it with a couple refills of their homemade lemonade. Their southern greens were ok. Finished with a very sweet and scrumptious banana pudding that I enjoyed greatly. Overall would recommend and definitely see myself stopping by when I’m in Nashville again.
I recommend taking a look to see how long the line is like at this place because while visiting Nashville most times I saw a long line to enter the restaurant. I was lucky when my friends and I decided to go there was no line and we were able to get in and order quickly. The theme of the place is like any fast-food restaurant: order at the register and wait for the food to be brought to your table. I ordered the hot 1/2 bird leg, thoughts, wings, and breast, this comes with two sides, mac and cheese, and French fries the one I decide to eat. The portion was very good maybe for two people or two meals, but it was not that spicy which was a bit disappointing, but it was very good taste, super unique. I highly recommend taking a look and making the line if necessary
The food was great, and the atmosphere was awesome. The employees are definitely a plus in this restaurant. They are funny and very kind. Food was excellent. The only thing is there's always a line to order food but is part of the price you have to pay to get good food. I ordered fried dark meat chicken, beans and French fries. Everything very good.
Good fried chicken but don’t expect to be mind blown. My biggest gripe is the speed at which the line moves. Similar to a food court, you order first then go find your own seats (which there are plenty). The speed that the food comes out is pretty quick too (about 15 minutes since order). The issue is that there’s only ONE cashier that takes your order. She’s extremely sweet and talkative but moves painfully slow (5-10 mins per order). All of this results in a half empty restaurant but a line that wraps around the store. I came at a time that wasn’t super busy as well (Saturday 4pm), so I can’t imagine what it’s like when the line gets even longer. If the wait was less than 20 minutes, I would’ve given 4-5 stars. But I don’t think the food is worth the 50 minutes wait that we encountered. Maybe try takeout and just eat in the parking lot if the weather is nice.
This might be the BEST hot chicken I’ve ever had! Hattie B’s is totally worth the hype! The chicken thighs were super juicy and flavorful, and the fried breading was very well seasoned. The spice levels also get very hot, so go for mild or no spice if you have a lower spice tolerance. The tenders are amazing as well! Can’t wait to go back. There was a line forming at 11 am on a Tuesday morning, but the service was still very fast!
An institution. A flavor explosion in your mouth... a mouth that burns from the heat. A long wait. Worth it. Be patient, it will be the best chicken you've had. Large dark HOT (don't get the damn hot or shut the cluck up unless you're really serious) + dirty bird + chicken tenders + waffles + beer + sweet tea. All under $60? What? Man I wish I lived here so I can eat this chicken all day. This chicken will haunt my dreams for years to come.
The chicken is so delicious! I ordered the chicken sandwich (medium heat) and a side of pimento Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese had flavor and the chicken sandwich was really good! However the bun of my sandwich was a little bit cold. Also the pickle chips were good except that they were a little bit too salty. other than that this is the best restaurant I’ve been to so far in Nashville.
Had to try this while in Nashville. It did not disappoint. Waited about 30mins but once inside and order taken it was very quick. Food price was reasonable for the portion.

Soooo good. Best hot chicken of our trip! Watch out, the hot chicken really does have a kick. Don't plan on tasting anything for a few days if you try the "shut the cluck up" level. But even if you get mild, the chicken is so juicy and flavorfu
