Went to lunch on a weekday.
Atmosphere - 3
Normal and clean setting, nothing special.
Service - 5
Really nice and warm staff.
Food - 4
Shrimp scampi - first bite was full of butter taste. For me it’s too strong. The main character turned into butter from shrimps.
Banh-Sai - good taste! bread was a little dry though.
Dirty bird - interesting touch with the fried green tomato. Good fried chicken. Was given the wet napkin with lemon for hand cleaning up at the end. Very thoughtful and sweet service 😍
Conclusion - it’s the kind of fusion place where I can’t tell the cuisine specialty from the menu. But good food is good food. Will come again for brunch and/or dinner.
Nice selection of sandwiches and unique food combos. We each had a chicken sandwich called the Dirty Bird with a honey butter hot sauce and pimento cheese topped off with a fried green tomato. Very tasty, not too spicy at all. Ingredients seem to be really fresh, nicely prepared and great presentation. Good selection of wine and beer. We were there for lunch, service was good but tables do fill in during the lunch hour. Side patio if weather permits.
Do you live in Falls Church? Or anywhere in Northern Virginia?? Then, you gotta get your booty to Harvey's!
We ate the Onion Dip appetizer, which had excellent aroma and flavor. Next, we both couldn't say no to the Shaved and Dipped roast beef sandwich, which sported some of the softest, tenderest (is that a word?) beef I've ever enjoyed. Finished our meal off with an amazing piece of walnut and chocolate pie.
We drove in from Leesburg just to try Harvey's delicious food, and like Arnold said, "I'll be back."
I must RAVE about this establishment!! I came in to dine alone and was made to feel right at home from the minute I walked in. I have a soft spot for duck breast, and I can tell you it was HANDS DOWN the best duck breast I have ever enjoyed. I savored every single bite. Zack, the bartender, kept me company and poured a me house Pinot, which was great with the meal and Robin also shared a taste of the Montepulciano, which I will seek out once I get home. To cap it off, I ordered the Honey Cake, home made by Thomas’ wife. Kudos to this amazing woman who supplies a constant stream of this family recipe while holding down two other jobs! Thomas, your rather new restaurant must be a treasured gift to your community, as demonstrated by the fundraisers you have hosted in service to the greater good. I have worked in restaurants my whole life, and it’s clearly evident that your big heart and genuine love for the work are the reasons for your success and ability to keep a loyal staff. Big love to all of you. If I ever get back this way again, I will be sure not to miss an unforgettable meal at Harvey’s!
Went for the first time based solely on the excellent online reviews, which reviews were spot on. Loved the casual/friendly/neighborhood vibe from the moment I walked in. Service (shout out to Robin the server!) was friendly, fast and she offered great suggestions throughout the evening. Very eclectic beer and wine selection that was so much more interesting than most restaurants. The Tuna Poke Nachos were a standout appetizer and the pasta special and the beer cheese steak sandwich was off the charts. Excellent value for the quality of the food as well! Talk to the owner on the way out to thank him for such a wonderful evening and he was as gracious as the food was excellent. Really looking forward to going back and trying some of the other appetizers and entrees.
Absolutely amazing ! Just went here today because of restaurant week and I am so glad we did ! Tuesday, our server, was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and welcoming. The food was sublime. Every dish was delicious. My husband even said it was the best soup he has ever had. We will definitely be back.
Casual, unassuming atmosphere fools you: the food was INCREDIBLE. Every dish and every course was high quality (again, for such a casual, neighborhood vibe). My wife and I were blown away from the starters to the dessert--even the decaf Americano was delicious! Service was very attentive as well. We arrived for an early (5pm) Saturday dinner. We cannot remember the last place we visited where EVERY dish was perfect in presentation and taste. We will be back for more!
Came here tonight. First thing I noticed right off the bat is how crowded and cramped it was. Our table was only a few inches away from the other tables and I had to squeeze into my seat to avoid accidentally brushing up against the person seated next to us. We ordered the onion dip, it was pretty good. I got the shrimp scampi. The shrimp were huge and really good quality, but honestly expected better flavor for a homemade pasta. The drinks were insanely overpriced. The entire menu was too expensive and didn’t fit the ambiance of the place. The service was great though. Overall, it was just OKAY, not really understanding the rave reviews, probably won’t be back.

Weâve been going here for over a decade. Since we prefer other foods, this isnât our first choice of restaurants for family dinner but we love the food every time we go! Husband always gets the drunken ribeye, I go for their southwest chicken sal

Great time with outdoor seating on a Friday night! Waited for about 20 minutes for a table and food came out fast. Spicy chicken burger and steak and cheese were both great. The server was attentive and kind.
The Creative Cauldron occupies a space that no other DMV arts space does. Yes, it's an intimate black box theater that seats fewer than 100, has only four rows (on three sides,) so every seat is "close enough to see the actors spit."
But my favorite
A Great family run restaurant! I accidentally pass by and it was late, but the owner and the staff welcome us very nicely and was very attentive during our meal. The food is good, everything is on point, just a little bit salty for my taste. I love t
Nice little spot in falls church. Although it's small, busy and with awkward parking... the food is delicious!

I have lived here for a couple of years now. This apartment complex is a great place to live. The units are beautiful. The location is great. Itâs wonderfully quiet and calm. There are lots of good restaurants and stores nearby.

A warm, welcoming, wonderful church community that fully supports and includes people of all types. The historic church building is beautiful, the newer building hosts many of the services, Sunday school, vacation bible school (it was Harry Potter th
My favorite dumplings in the northern VA area. I always get the lemon grass chicken and black milk tea. The dumplings are always super juicy and fresh! Their pan fried beef dumplings are also great, and I LOVE their spicy chili oil sauce.
