On a spontaneous much needed week break. Popping in and out of "mom&pop", "brick&mortar" small independent shops. Totally playing this week by ear, our preferred way to kick back. This spot is easily now one of our favorites. Tasty breakfast food, really great coffee (my better half loves it, amazing). Place is casual, clean and totally worth stopping in we were more than satisfied ! Don't miss out ! Ps., We dug a little deeper and lots of very cool stuff happening here ! Great Mission Statement - who dosen't want to help farmers !
BEST CACAO I HAVE EVER HAD. The variety on the menu caters to all tastes. To all those reviews that say the staff is rude, please remember this place is a training program so let them know how they can be better. To all those reviews who say they had to wait long periods of time, remember that on weekends Newport hosts all kinds of festivals and to Jazmine Santiago, today I happen to know that the internet service went down in the city and they lost a lot of business through no fault of their own. This is not a S--bucks and that's what I like about it. I don't mind the wait to be in an atmosphere that is more real. Locally grown produce a +++. The only thing I would say is that the owner needs to get a full-time manager.
I really liked the place. It's interior is really nice and chill. My favorite part of the interior is the art. It's really cool that there's art being sold. I tried the Cacao. It was a version of Hot Chocolate, which was nice. I tried the St. Augustin. The hummus was really good with the rest of the sandwich.
Great coffee and croissants! Cute space to sit, relax and enjoy your coffee. Friendly staff. Love the plants!
They have THE BEST Chai tea lattes. Breakfast sandwiches are fresh and filling. Every time the Navy has me attend classes in Newport, I always find a way to stop here at least once.
Hyped to try this spot for breakfast. Coffee was great but the sandwiches we ordered took around 20 minutes and a simple breakfast sandwich was incorrectly made. I don’t believe the price was justifiable as well as our two sandwich and water order came to $22. I’ll be back but not for food.
I find myself regretting it whenever I go here. Food and coffee are fine but the service isn’t. Employees are pretty rude. 😓 Doesn’t seem like a fun job to be fair. It is usually noisy and uncomfortably crowded. If you are looking for a place to chill or work for a couple hours, this isn’t it. I’d recommend Empire on broadway instead. If you’re just getting a quick bite to go, consider Ash Mart across the st instead. They treat customers like family and have a yummy breakfast menu. Ash Mart will be our fifth ward stop from now on.
Ok. I'm going to give them 5 stars even though my sandwhich was ALL the way messed up. It was just condiments. BUT! The avocado mash snd champagne mustard on grilled sourdough was still delicious. I hope they are a little more prepared for customers next time, but I will go back!!
Nicely crafted bracelets, love the fit and the clasp they use. Very durable. And love the designs! They were helpful and held a specific color and size for me when the new shipment came in. Conveniently on the last day of my trip! I did overhear a gi
