Hartwell Lakeside Park - Park in Hartwell - 330 Hart State Park Rd, USA

This is another place I don’t know if I should share how great it is. The check in and out are wonderfully easy. The spots have an amazing view and decks with fire rings and picnic tables. So comfortable. Great dog runs. Separation between two lets litttles and bigs play safely separately! Fun bounce pad for kids. The comfort station is clean and convenient. Just don’t share this hidden gem of a camp it will book quickly!

Very clean KOA campground, waterfront sites, small cabins, even teepee's can be rented. Nice covered water front pavilion to groups.

Hartwell Lakeside Park is one of our favorite spots to watch the sunsets. There are several spots where you can swim. There are picnic tables, a playground, dock, and restrooms. With the KOA nearby, the park gets busy in the summer months.

Beautiful park. One of the most beautiful sunset I ever saw. Very quiet clean and close to lake hartwell. We camp there for 2 nights in tent, including grill fire and very much enjoyed. Very recommended area for people who want to be closer to nature. There is option to rent a boat right next to camping area or just relax on lake beach

Very quaint lakeside camping. It's a KOA, but not the parking Lot style KOA that you may be accustomed to. Boat dock, swim beach, clean restrooms, and directly across the cove from Hartwell Marina. I really enjoyed my stay, only complaint was that the power surged and flipped my breaker several times in the afternoon. Aside from that, I had a great experience, and I will definitely be back.

(30 person family reunion, pavillion #3) The park staff were super accommodating! Friendly too. We coordinated our requirements to park staff prior to showing up. All rewuirements were 100% met, spot on! Our pavillion grill was clean and well maintained. The picnic tables were 100% clean. The electrical outlets worked. Two kayaks with paddles and life jackets were placed at the Pavillion before we arrived. Adjacent restrooms were clean .No problems whatsoever! Kudos to the park staff!!!

It is a KOA. They are in the process of expanding and adding to the campground. They don't have the normal stuff you find at most KOA but they are in the process of adding stuff. Most of the campsites are close together especially the ones with the decks. But we stayed on site #36 and #37 we had privacy but the hill going down to the lake is no joke, be ready to get your exercise on. We was at the end of the cove. All in all very nice and clean campground.

Great place to look for arrowheads and emeralds because the lake is down
