Great Amish place to eat. The food and service are superb. The Chef Salad and Butterscotch Pie were out of this world. Will definitely go back!
Hartville kitchen has great homemade food, pies and baked goods. Service is fast and friendly. I always feel at home here. Love the Hartville salad dressings!
Very touristy. Very busy. We came on a Saturday. We got there around 10:45 and it opens at 11:00. There was already a line of people waiting. The first thing you're greeted with is a huge bakery right in front of you. Smells great. There are shops to the rught selling gift shop items. We waited in the long line to get in. Standing right in front of the bakery. We finally were ushered into the dining room and just told to follow a host who was seating multiple groups at one time. Drink orders were taken very quickly and the waitress took our orders immediately. It took 25 minutes to get our food. Waitress apologized for the wait. After we started eating, the waitress dropped off our check and asked if we needed a box. Decor is traditional homestyle. Food was OK and good, but not worth the price. I could have bought a similar burger at a concession stand. Service was nice and friendly.
I have eaten here many times and have NEVER had bad service or food! Sometimes, there is a wait. However, it goes pretty fast. This past time wasn't a long line. It was a Saturday at about 6 pm. It took maybe 20 minutes to be seated. The staff is very efficient and friendly! They were always coming around to refill our water/drinks. I love to eat here rather than an Amish buffet The noodles in they buffet are always so mushy. I ordered the roast beef dinner, which includes 3 sides. I had their mashed potatoes, noodles, and a salad. It was hot and delicious! Also, they bring warm rolls out, I think we went through 2 baskets...lol. I love bread! Someone had the porkchop dinner and pork roast dinner. Everyone was extremely satisfied! Overall, if you get a chance, you have to try Hartville Kitchen out! If there is a long line, and you are with a group, take turns visiting their great bakery- not only pies, cookies, cakes, but you can get cheeses, popcorn, cooking utensils, teas, dish towels, different olive oils, and so much more! Hartville Collectibles Shop located in the building is a great stop, too! There are so many unique things! I did include some pictures of the bakery and shop. Sorry, my photos are kind of order!! Lol
Excellent food and service. The place is decorated beautifully. Full of Christmas Spirit!
Had the Monday special and it was amazing! Comes with 3 sides and rolls. Couldn't resist a piece of the pecan pie. It's a good thing I do not live close to this place, I would be 500lbs. If you have never been to the Hartville kitchen, you need to go ASAP!
You will probably have to wait in line, but there is a reason; they serve the best home cooked meals that you could imagine! On top of the great food the staff is incredible. Do yourself a favor and go there, you won’t be disappointed!
Amazing homestyle restaurant, with great food and speedy service. We got here at 11:15 on a Saturday and it was already busy. Portion sizes were generous. There is also no alcohol served here. The shops were a fun addition to explore and we walked out with some fresh baking for our drive home.
