I love this place. It is very old and the rooms are owned by individuals. The positive is that the location is very quiet, the area has its own grocery store, restaurants and shopping stores. The beach u can walk to are just across the street. They have a pool and the people in the office are very nice and helpful. Also the rooms are $120 a night. You can't hardly find a room that cheap at the beach...

We absolutely love this place! This is the second time we have booked here for our girls getaway vacation. Bobbi has a a few units and they are so clean and perfectly sized. Bill, a full time tenant and maintenance personnel, is so friendly and helpful. He always takes excellent care of the grounds and the pool. The pool is super clean which is difficult to find in tourist areas. The tenants we have met are all very kind and friendly to be around. We will always book here for our future trips!

We came for memorial weekend,unfortunately rained out. Weather doesn’t affect the room though. Good location compared to beach, right across from access path! Air bnb host was great! The room may seem small but let’s be honest, who’s coming to stay in the room. Bed gives so be prepared. Our Air bnb host however was very accommodating which we enjoyed!

A lot of money per night. The motel has a great location to the highway, but that is just about it as far as the positives. The room stunk and the exterior walkways were soaked with water. It was an accident waiting to happen.

We stayed in the room that is used in the pictures for advertisement. We figured the hotel went through a renovation in the beginning of 2017. The 2016 reviews stated that the rooms were filthy, appliances didn't work, etc. Well it looks like they did the renovations and haven't cleaned up since!!||||To start the couch has several burn holes in it. The nice carpet you see is filthy and has stains on it. The table settings were sticking to the table because the table had not been cleaned. I went to pour my wife a glass of wine in one of the glasses in the cabinet and the glass had caked on lipstick on it. The dishwasher was broken. So I if you are going to stay here, bring your own cleaning supplies, towels, etc. and plan on cleaning the room before you do anything. We cleaned every surface in the room including the bathroom sink faucet that looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the room was renovated. There are no sponges, dish detergent, paper-towels, dishtowels supplied in the room. There are ancient bath towels so b ring your own as well.||||Ironically at the desk posted on the wall is a no refund policy. So the owner rents a filthy room and if you are unhappy with the room and decide to leave, you can't get your money back. It turns out this property is NOT a Motel, it is an condo owners association. You are not informed of the refund policy (or lack there of) until you want a refund. No signed agreement like you do at a normal hotel/motel. ||||I contacted my credit card company and will be contesting the charges for checking out early...There are several other hotels in the area and I recommend you stay with them and pay a little more, you will get better service.

My family has been staying here for 50 years and the hotel is still in great shape! Staying in in 202 currently and the upgrades, especially in the kitchen are very nice! All GE stainless appliances and the AC works wonderfully. We love it here! Thank you Gina and staff for all your wonderful service.

We stayed in units 204 & 206 they have an adjoining door (they rent separate or together). These units are awesome. They are brand new and have all the comforts of home. The building has an outdoor pool that was great and it is just across the street from the beach access. Unit 204 has two bedrooms and one bath with a kitchen/living area with a sleep sofa. Unit 206 is the same except Unit 204 one bedroom has a twin bed and bunk beds. We loved these units and would rent them again in the future.

If your nose is snotty and your parents have coddled you all of your life and you are just an all around miserable person....this is not the place for you. If you remember coming to Cherry Grove beach in the seventy and eighties with your parents when all of the hotels were like this one....you will enjoy your stay. The staff was awesome and the hotel room we stayed in was clean and updated. The pricing was very reasonable and I will be back.
