Hartford Hotel, BW Signature Collection - Hotel in Rosemead - 8832 Glendon Wy, USA

Just about any time I look for hotels in the LA or San Diego area, the following applies. If it's cheaper, it's not in good condition or rundown and/or not in a safe area. This hotel is definitely the exception. Very clean, looks brand new inside and out. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and clean. The beds were a bit firm for my liking, however just my personal preference. This location is in a residential area and is very close to shopping and dining.

Excellent job on earning my very first negative google review in last 30 years. Convenient location close to I-10 and a shopping plaza. Pretty clean. All staff were friendly except the Asian front desk guy. Everything was ok till I came back to the front desk asking for a non smoking room, which was right after I checked out my room. He claimed “all rooms are nonsmoking “. But there’s an unbelievable strong smell. He went to check out the room and gave me another room. The way he gave me the room keys was totally in an eye opening way. He put the keys right in my face with a big eye roll . If there’s no smell in the room, why did he give me another room? Should I be blamed for asking for a room with no smoking smell? I did see his super friendly smile with other non Asian customers , which was hidden very well since I walked in the lobby. Stay away from this place if you don’t plan to be silent with the smoking smell, or you happen to have an Asian face that is similar to his own. Overall it’s not bad if you are smart enough to avoid his shift . The front desk guy in the next morning was fine.

Stood here one night was skeptical when pulled up. The property has no POOL and looks like a converted motel. But was pleasant surprised! As soon as you walked in, Orlando was welcoming and let us see the room before we checked in . He was helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service! The room was SUPER CLEAN and the cleaning lady gave me extra warm towels. They also give you slippers, and a robes, Fancy😁 I will be staying here again . The only reason not 5 starts is again, and there is no pool or bar. But great comfy beds .

Front desk person was a bit cold during check-in and was never seen again during our two night stay. Ants kept getting into our car but they have free parking which is a plus. Might have seen a cockroach out there as well but it was late at night so could have been a random beetle. No two queen rooms, only doubles which isn't great if sharing a bed. Good location if you want proximity to Chinese food and shopping for Chinese stuff. Good value so might stay again. They also lock the breakfast area so if you want to grab some plates or silverware, do it before breakfast ends

This hotel was good. Nice staff with great location. I stayed here for one night and the rooms were good, other than the fact that there was a weird stain on one of the towels, which is the reason I’d give this 4 stars out of 5.

Love that it’s off the freeway and within a few minutes from all the Asian good eats! Staff is nice and room rates are reasonable with free parking. And most importantly, the rooms are clean. You can even smell the clean. Slippers and robes are provided and we definitely used them.

Positive: Nothing. Negative: There was a strong smell in the room. I didn?t sleep well the whole night because I felt itchy all over and the AC was very noisy.

Very good experience the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and tasty
