Hart Memorial Park - Park in Bakersfield - Hart Park, USA

I'm not from bakersfield but seeing this place was magical, the ducks being fed by people, the beauty of the area was honestly breath-taking. It was very lovely experience and I plan to come back with my little family.

This park has everything one could wish for when libing in a city. It is very close to town, yet it feels like you are far away... secluded and in a real nature. It has beautiful small lakes one can fiah in or swim in, surrounded by grasses and plants, well kept lawns with lots of large mature trees of many kind, including nut trees.and fruit trees and evergreens. One can forage and see wildlife along with the cat community. :-). It is located by the bank of Kern River, so it gives it a real out-of-town wildlife feel. There are multiple playgrounds for families with small children, benches, and barbecues for picknicks in this park. The wntire park is also engineered and built as a disc golf playground! Which is pretty awesome! There is a renobated visitor center and natural museum. Ot is a really fun place to bring your family and friends. In early morning hours, there are some people doing their workouts and enjoying the fresh air and peacefulness.

It is located by the bank of Kern River. You can get change a real out-of-town wildlife feel here. There are multiple playgrounds for everyone. Lots of birds are swimming here. Washrooms facilities are available here.

There are several playground areas , restrooms are provided, kinda creepy , but usable, there were pick nicking families everywhere . I believe dogs are allowed, my grandson got ran up on by some that were unleashed. Otherwise access to the river was great and the vibes were positive!!

If people would start getting fined/banned for littering this place would be so much better. It is a fantastic location for picnics, volleyball, family reunions, jogging , etc. There are plenty of trash bins located all over the park. Please act like a civilized human and use them instead of throwing diapers and wrappers in the ground. There are public restrooms but sometimes they're locked. Dog friendly.

Gorgeous, well cleaned public park. The only standing issue i have with it is there is a firing range located on the property. So as long as you don't mind the sound of gun fire its a nice place to walk & bring the kids 👌

Today the park wasn't full and those that were there were enjoying the park peacefully. Definitely a park perfect for picture opportunities for many occasions. We were there to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was great. Many playgrounds for the little ones, an area where there are peacocks, you can go and feed the ducks, or just go and relax.

Take the trail next to the sheriff's station if you're going hiking. The other trail will end on top with no way to continue. The park it great clear water compare to most.
