Harry's Hofbrau - Family restaurant in San Leandro - 14900 E 14th St, USA

I went here on the recommendation of my significant other because of the atmosphere, kind of like a European pub, and I will definitely come back for more than the atmosphere. The food was delightful, I had the roast turkey sub and my partner got the beef stroganoff. The service is fast being lunch line style, where you call out your order as they prep it in front of you. They don't skimp on the portion size either. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

An awesome array of old people, killer beer, heavy comfort food, sketchy dudes, skanky chicks, memorabilia, a beer hall feel straight out of Germany (which is difficult to achieve with real estate costing what it does) and freaking pastrami! Pastrami man, did you hear me? A giant plate of it if you want it! A sandwich works too, but they'll skip it on a plate for you if you want. A giant pile. Yep.

Haven't been in years... so glad we stopped! The food was really good and the staff were nice! It's a huge place!

Service was good food was ok. Definitely as described cafeteria style foods. Food was in hot steam trays but wasn't hot or warm. Meats had cold gravy on top. Fresh sliced meats maybe a sandwich would be a better option. My kid enjoyed it.

Hands down the best place to eat in San Leandro. Food is delicious and plentiful. Staff is always awesome and take care of you and the place is like no other. Display cases and statues abound. I love this place!

This is a decades old true classic comfort food emporium that always delivers and is always consistent and delicious. Generous portions. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Full bar. Vast beer selection.

I got there after lunch time and the staff was professional and the food was awesome! The prime rib was good!

If you're looking for a traditional meal like turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes or a roast beef dinner, they do a decent job of it here. They also do things that you might find at a deli like corned beef and pastrami sandwiches too. It's a cafeteria style food delivery service and with minimal service at your table. It works well here, but if you're not used to it, you could find it off putting. Nothing really fancy, but that's the plan here, they focus on carved meats to make sandwiches and dinner plates.where locals come back on a regular basis.
