Come early for events to get the best spot for your viewing pleasure. The bathrooms have huge lines, be warned.
Do not like the giant sign in back of performers. Very narcissistic. Harry Chapin sign should be the large sign, not the politician. The speakers are much better... but those green fences ((with large political name!) cut off viewing. Pond needs cleaning. Lots of debris floating in it. We pay a lot of taxes and yet the park field 6 is always in need of cleaning and less politics.
We were there for a free concert. The concert started an hour early so we were fortunate that we got there super early. It's bring your own chairs. The concession stand menu was very limited. The smell of pot seemed to be everywhere which took away from our enjoyment.
So many wonderful concerts at this venue. Unfortunately, the county executive sign is so much larger than the Harry Chapin sign, who should be the one honored at that band shell.
