Harrison Bay Beach and Picnic Area - Picnic ground in Harrison - 8109 Harrison Bay Rd, USA

This will probably be my go-to spot for local kayaking. It was very easy to get from the free parking to the water. Not crowded at all on weekdays. The picnic areas are spread out, clean, and sturdy. Just watch out for a certain pudgy squirrel who has a pretzel chip addiction. There's lots of shade for those who want it. On the water, there is room to get in some distance paddling. Islands, shell-covered shorelines, boulders, and trees growing right in the water are some of the features that keep the scenery interesting. Nobody bothered me or any of my stuff at any time.

We had a great time with friends while weekend camping at the park.

Nice little place for camping. Has everything you could need. Playground, swimming, fishing. Lots of wildlife and the deer are super friendly.

I visit this park often. I enjoy having a picnic next to the water. The view is lovely. Sometimes I fish and swim. The picnic tables are old rock in concrete. Not comfortable.

Calmed and joyful to spend the day at a picnic or barbecue. My kids loved it. There are so many birds to see, and there's boat rentals too.
