Harrah's Resort Southern California - Resort hotel in Valley Center - 777 S Resort Dr, USA

I hadn't been to Harrah's in year's. I arrived around 6:30 PM and the show was to begin at 8:00 PM. Before the event show I wanted treat myself to some fine dining in the oyster bar restaurant. The waiting list was over an hour long for a single diner to be seated at the oyster bar. I could see several open single spots at both bars when I arrived.The host said I could make a reservation for after the show and he stated the show would end at 9:30 PM and he would put me in at 9:40 pm for a reservation. I was there about 10-15 minutes waiting to get this reservation as the single spots at both bars remained unoccupied. Well the show ended at 10:00 pm and I went straight to the restaurant and was told there now closed. Really closed at 10:00 pm on Saturday night, the host really should have mentioned they would be closing by 10:00 and my dining experience would be rushed if I made it to the restaurant by 9:40 due to they close by 10:00. I was really disappointed to say the least. I then walked over to the Hell's Kitchen restaurant to find out it's also closed. By then my options for a fine dinning experience was limited to Chinese restaurant in which was closing soon with a line of people waiting. So at this point my only option is the cafe restaurant. Definitely not the fine dining experience I was expecting and would not recommend. The food was well ok, when your famished. I guess as at this point I just needed something but I definitely would not eat there again. Long story short! If your planning to have a fine dining experience before a event show, just know your options are very limited with long lines, and waiting list at Harrah's. You will need to go several hours early for a chance you could get a reservation before the show. In addition, the air quality was very poor throughout the casino and the event venue. There was no areas that I found that didn't have a heavy odor of cigarettes, even in the cafe.

Went here for a business convention. It has a great spa and Pool area. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Rooms very clean and comfortable. The top golf was fun, and it was a very beautiful scenic location.

Quite a distance from the Freeway, but this place has everything to offer. The rooms are decent, but they will not clean your room until you're checked out. The restaurants are good and a definite must to check out. I highly recommend Hell's Kitchen. The Chinese restaurant has great food but surprisingly expensive prices. But the jewel of this place is the swimming pool and lazy river. You get 4 free passes per room you rent. Not sure what they charge if you don't get a room. Also, they don't sell inner tubes here, so you need to bring your own. Still a good experience and definitely will come back soon.

Loved staying at the Harrah’s resort. Since you arrive the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It’s a pretty big hotel and still it’s not too packed. You have plenty of options for entertainment and food inside the resort. The pools mostly have adults in there but there’s still areas for kids. Our bedroom was very comfy and the bathroom was just amazing, full size bathtub and a shower with great water pressure, hot water available at all times. Would definitely recommend.

Rooms are a bit dirty, finger prints on furniture, place looks a bit worn. But it's pretty chill, you also have to pay for wifi 12.99 a day. There are dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You can hear the coyotes eating every night. That's a bit trippy. Over all had fun. Stayed for 4 days

I didn't stay at hotel so can't comment. This place was mix for me. Didn't realize that California has no close slot casinos near long. 😳 So the drive AND in traffic was a lot! It's a mid size casino and ok. I had up and down luck. They have all the regular machines. They didn't have a Laurel lounge or give discounts to tier earners. It was late afternoon and there was nothing open to get a basic burger and drink!!!

Hotel was nice and clean. Nice rooms. Comfy beds. Beautiful area. A little out of the way. Food was good. Lots of slots. The lazy river was not heated, which was a big disappointment. All in all we had a good time. Looking forward to returning when we can use the lazy river.

Horrible house keeping on Jan 12 2024 from Isabel. At 12noon housekeeping banged on my door waking me up disrespecting my 1pm 7star late checkout. I then requested a housekeeping supervisor through the phone with house operator Stephanie and housekeeping supervisor never showed up. I then called hotel manager Lizzete and she says I need to explain the issue to her to address it. I tell her I prefer to submit my complaint online and she keeps insisting she needs to know what happen. At this point the tone of her voice seems i sense like she is giving me an additude problem. It's unbelievable as if housekeeping wasn't enough. Keep in mind by this time form me typing this out I have already spent 2 hours from calling operator to me trying this review. Just taking away from my gaming time which I didn't even gamble at harrahs I completely lost my motivation to gamble. I left upset and went to pechanga. Once again another horrible hotel experince. Definitely not recommend here anymore.
