Great customer service, competitive pricing, & the Saturday meat sales usually have decent choices available, good quality cuts, and reasonable pricing. If you ask 1 of the employees in the meat dept, they'll cut up whole pork loin and/or the large tubes of hamburger custom to the customers preferences.
Places like this (convenience grocery stores) really need self checkouts. I only needed 2 things but ended up in line for 10 minutes because people needed to chat and catch up instead of clearing the lines.
*Big packs of flour tortillas! Seems random but my family eats a lot of tortillas and it's absolutely frustrating that walmart seems to only carry ~10ct packs.* Convenient but pricey. I don't like shopping here but when I can't make it to town I just go here cuz they usually have everything I need.
They're quite high on some of their prices. It's the only store that has jiffy pizza crust Walmart quit selling in a few years Walmart's of pain in the so while I'm at harps food store I pick up other foods I need rather than going to God bless and have a nice day.
The cashier who check us out(tyara) is absolutely amazing she definitely deserves gratitude she was so caring when my card declined and helped right away to figure out a solution and she was extremely kind to my little one and mom
My recent visits and information received from friends concerning our recent experiences while shopping here wasn't a pleasant experience. Employees bad attitudes, outright rudeness, lazy work ethic, and basically treating the customers like we're inconveniencing them by coming in and shopping. The only areas of the store that complaints are about is the most important part of the store, POS the check-outs. I bought 6 items that I had on a list, so I wanted a quick in and out. It took me less than 10 minutes to gather those items, when I got to the check-out there was a gentleman being checked out with a dozen or so items, but had a price dispute over grapes. Manager was called and went with customer to check while the young male cashier finished scanning the remaining items, but the last item wasn't in the system, and instead of going and looking to see what the shelf price tag said he stood there until the customer returned, and didn't call out to the manager until he was almost back to the meat wall. So basically it took me twice as long as the check-out than it took to shop. Should've taken less than 15 minutes total, instead it was almost 30 minutes, ridiculous! If they don't want to work and do their job, they need to let someone who does want to work have their job, but either way their discontentment with the job, their supervisors, or being employed is not the customers fault. Very unprofessional behavior! The older woman who told my friend she was stupid and because she was following the instructions of the card reader instead of her behavior caused that transaction to take twice as long as it should've.
Do not charge posted prices. they ring up twice as much. When confronted, manager simply states "oh those signs shouldn't be there". Does not honor sales prices, instead is very rude. Regular prices are outrageous here as well!
I was visiting family and stopped here for a few grocer items. The prices were very competitive and the selection was good. The cashier was friendly and professional. The store was clean and set up nicely.
