The indoors area of the restaurant, in the evening, is very dark, at a point where we had to use our flashlights to look at the menus. They had live music, which was really nice, but it was very loud and we were not able to talk without shouting. I ordered a Lobster Avocado wrap, which I wouldn't suggest, but my friends were really happy with what they got.

08/19/2023: Dinner for two: Salads, Day Boat Scallops and Salmon. Everything was well prepared and the service was above average! 07/09/2022: Dinner for 2. We started with a Broiled Scallops and a Grilled Brussel Sprouts appetizer. Entree's were Spicy Shrimp & Pasta and Sesame Tuna. Outstanding! Service was prompt & courteous - Thanks Paul. 06/27/2021: Dinner for 5 @ 8.45PM. Service was prompt & courteous. We ordered several appetizers - Outstanding! Guests ordered cheeseburgers: cooked just right and they said food was great. This is my first time but will NOT be my last. Great Job! Ed Papson

Great service, quality food, and being right on the side of the marinas brings a nice atmosphere to the outdoor area.

I have been to Harpoon Willy's several times and it never disappoints. We sat near the window looking out to the water and there was a fireplace nearby which gave it a nice ambience. Dinner was delicious. My friend and I had Buffalo wings, the day boat scallops with mushroom risotto and veggies which were both very good. The chocolate mouse cake was decadent and perfect too.

TRICKY place to find.. Once you do parking is adequate. The outside seating is more comfortable then inside but keep walking through the door to hosts table. You walk into a Old restaurant that looks like it used to be a house at some point. I would come back during the Winter. As far as a summer place. I'll stay with River Rock. Harpoon is very closed in. They need to open it up and cut down a whole bunch of trees to really enjoy this place. Sitting at the bar, was my first mistake due to the terribly uncomfortable seats. I am 5'4, for a short person my legs met the top of the bar. You are sitting waste high at bar. Now maybe they do this so people come and go and I did not order a Adult Beverage. I did order a Half order of wings (meaning 5) cost 12$ the wings were normal size, could have used more Buffalo Sauce but rather less and ask for more, I say! I did like it came with both carrots and celery at no charge, I guess that can be expected when 5 wings are 12$. As I looked around I noticed some large, tall men sitting at bar as well. It looked like their head could almost touched the ceiling. I did not stay long and might go for a visit in the winter..

Nice little bar/restaurant on the banks of the Manasquan River. Some outdoor tables with umbrellas are set up for the nice weather, but we enjoyed our meal at the bar. There's plenty of windows to enjoy the view though. My New England clam chowder and ceaser salad were tasty and my lemonade and citrus absolute vodka drink was fresh and cold. My husband enjoyed his beer along with a sirloin steak sandwich. I'm glad we chose here to stop for a bit after our visit to Sea Girt lighthouse.

Two of my friends and I met up at Harpoon Willy‘s, where we sat at the bar for the first hour. It was such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the hostess to the bartender to our waiter, Jack. We all loved all meals, especially the brussels sprouts with Thai dressing! So good. I am definitely going back there, maybe sit outside next time.
