Harmony Motel - Motel in Twentynine Palms - 71161 29 Palms Hwy, USA

Had a wonderful 4 days at the Harmony Hotel. We had a room with adjoining kitchen. This was great for breakfasts and evening meals - we love to cook as our diets are somewhat selective. It was quiet. The rest of the guests were quiet, not rowdy. Ash the manager was helpful and friendly. Its a 15 min drive to the 29 palms JT entrance -so close! 29 Palms has all you need in terms of amenities and has a sleepier feel than the town of Joshua Tree which is a quite touristy. The bedroom was warm with a huge comfy bed. And the U2 history is very cool! Thanks Ash and can't wait to come back!

Stayed here recently (December) for 3 nights in room # 2 (“Deluxe king with full kitchen”). The check in/out were good, the room itself was pleasant and comfortable with quite a big kitchen and a small and older, but functional bathroom. We didn’t use the stove, but the kitchen came handy for prepping our own breakfasts and lunches. The only thing I was missing was a kettle to boil water for tea. I used the coffee maker instead, and that worked ok. We were also surprised that there was no coffee supplied in the room (we just weren’t prepared for that, so keep that in mind/bring your own). We couldn’t use much of the amenities as we happened to have very poor weather, but the premises looked very inviting. We also enjoyed the in-room heater which was badly needed in the evenings due to the cold weather we got during our stay. At check-in we received a lot of tips on things around the room, which was very helpful. The location was really good - approx. 10-15 mins drive from the Joshua Tree Park Entrance in Twentynine Palms, or approx. 20-30 mins from some of the popular trails. It was also located within 5 minute drive to Twentynine Palms downtown with coffee and all the restaurants; and approx. 15 minutes drive from the town of Joshua Tree with more shops, great coffee and more nice restaurants. |All in all, we had a good stay here, and thought it was a great location for exploring the Joshua Tree National Park.

I've been coming to visit for the better part of two decades, and I've never had a bad visit. The rooms are impossibly clean, there is a nice hot tub and pool that is well attended and the showers are strong and hot. I also end up enjoying the other guests, with a self selection of those in the know. Do yourself a favor & make this a frequent stop, and support independent businesses! Ash will take care of you when you arrive.

Just stayed 5 nights at the "stand-alone" Jack Kerouac cabin with my spouse. My Mom & brother joined us booking a regular room here too.|We picked this motel for the cabin and the very close proximity to the North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park where we did an amazing comprehensive visit! The cabin was great for making wonderful dinners for our family. Kitchen is complete with dishes, cooking wear, oven, microwave, coffee maker and medium sized refrigerator.|The bed is very comfortable & shower very good with quick hot water & pressure. Plenty of parking.|The cabin sits the closest to the highway, so there is traffic noise- it does calm down a bit at night. Heater worked well (we did not need the AC in mid-November). One disappointment as I am a swimmer, was that the pool is not heated so too cold to swim. The hot tub was turned on in the evenings and was really nice & Hot!|Ash the proprietor, has owned the motel I believe for 20 years and is very attentive & available if you need her for anything. She is very responsive also on texting which we really appreciated. Also, just half mile away are grocery stores. I would say this is a good, budget friendly cabin in Twentynine palms.

Friendly, and helpful staff (especially Ash), made this a wonderful stay. We made use of the communal kitchen for storing food & ice packs, which was helpful as our room (the Tortoise Room) did not have a "kitchenette". The communal hot tub was a wonderful way to end our nights. Look carefully at the photos for each room to understand what is covered for your reservation. The Harmony Motel was clean, comfortable, and ideal for a quick visit.

We stayed in Chuck’s Cabin and it was perfect. The location was easy, peaceful and nicely furnished. Coffee on the patio to watch sunrise and stars at night. Great host who was responsive and kind. Directions were spot on, and it was an easy drive to the park and a variety of restaurants.

This is a very charming and unique hotel conveniently located for the town of Joshua Tree and 29 Palms. The property is fun to look at during the day, but at night the true charm of the property comes out with the outdoor lighting. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The pool is private and very nice. Ash, the manager is friendly and helpful with information about the area. I have stayed here several times, and had a great experience every year. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, do it!

This is our third stay at the Harmony Motel. We absolutely love it! The owners name is Ash, and she is so friendly. We love coming to the desert, this property is so beautiful. It is quaint and decorated with the most beautiful succulents and animal caricatures. Each guest room has its own porch with table and chairs to sit and enjoy your coffee. There is also a pool and Jacuzzi on the property which is so nice sitting under the night stars! Thank you Ash for another wonderful stay, we will see you soon! Robert & Teri Merchant
