What a wonderful experience I had staying at Harmony Hills. I was met by Dave, the owner as I drove into the long tree shaded driveway. I have to say the room was perfect, very comfortable bed, and the window looked out at a large area full of ducks, some chickens in their cages and geese. The room had everything I needed, to include a nice big TV, coffee and fresh baked blueberry muffins in the morning, and it was very, very clean and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here as opposed to staying at any chain hotel in the area. I will be back.

Perfect Quiet Vacation Retreat A beautiful, 6-acre property, set back several hundred feet from the county road, screened in by a hedge of large shade trees. The property is well groomed, with an abundance of flowers and well-kept lawn. A lovely patio that overlooks the meadow. A troop of gentle ducks and a few Pilgrim geese that greet you as they wander about. The patio has comfortable seating around a large table, as well as 4 rocking chairs around a gas fire pit. Our room was beautiful; tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The common area is a full-sized kitchen and a sitting area with chairs and couch. In the kitchen were fresh-baked chocolate chip muffins and blueberry muffins, both of which were absolutely delicious. Farm-fresh, hard-boiled eggs and yogurt were also available all day, perfect for a light breakfast or a pick-me-up, healthy snack. The hosts were accommodating, friendly and available if needed. Everything is pristine clean. The inn and the entire property are delightfully quiet.

Spent the night while we were traveling the next day on an airline trip to California. Dave was a wonderful host and showed us the place even though we were only staying the night. Then he fed the ducks and turkeys and let us help, which was a lot of fun. Even offered to lug a reclining chair to our room as I had just had rotator cuff surgery. Great place, great time, very clean room, will definitely stay the next time we need a room in the area!

I was looking for a place for a few nights in the Huntley / Marengo area, one that's above a generic chain. Near the tollway for accessibility, and far enough out from O'Hare to avoid the regular suburbs. Although we intended to visit as a couple, I had to travel solo. The room was certainly spacious enough for two. | The host was friendly, the bed was comfy, and the entire place was clean, tidy and organized. I skipped the optional custom breakfast, and stayed with the standard, which was tasty muffins and other items as an expanded continental breakfast.| The backyard with its quiet fowl and a view of nothing else but landscape was nice. You can walk around the property, or for a longer walk, consider the large grounds of Huntley High School, which is almost across the street.

Fourth of July, 2024 was my third stay at the Harmony Inn, located in the beautiful location of Huntley, Illinois. The host, David is very friendly and kind and will make sure you have the most pleasant experience during your time visiting Huntley. The inn is surrounded by a picturesque view of trees, nature with the occasional sounds of live chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys which he encourages guests to feed. All rooms have a cozy bed, flat screen televisions, bathrooms with showers, mini fridge and access to the kitchen where you can find filtered water, milk, yogurt and various snacks. Warm muffins are provided each morning with optional hot breakfast with fee. Being there is an amazing experience on top of the surrounding charm Huntley has to offer. If you are staying in the Huntley area or just need a relaxing getaway, I highly recommend the Harmony Inn!

Beautiful property. Well appointed rooms and very clean. Extremely welcoming. We enjoyed the ducks, geese and turkeys that came out to greet us. The location is very convenient to local restaurants and stores. Mr. David was an excellent host. We highly recommend the Harmony Inn.

My husband and I stayed June 22nd-28th 2024 at The Harmony Inn. The room and attached bathroom were nicely decorated and clean. The grounds were very pretty. Upon arrival Dave met us to show us around. He gave me lettuce to feed the animals. They have ducks, geese, turkeys and chickens. All but the chickens get to roam around so I enjoyed feeding and watching them. In the mornings in the common area they had blueberry muffins (my husband said "Yummy."), chocolate chip muffins, hard boiled eggs and other items. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

We were in Huntley for six days to settle an estate. We didnt want to stay in a hotel and looked for something different. Harmony Inn received rave reviews and sounded like the perfect place to stay. From the first day we arrived to the final evening, sitting out on the deck with the fire table glowing as we talked to Dave, our fabulous host, we totally enjoyed our time at this wonderful "mecca" just a few minutes from downtown Huntley. Waking up to total quiet and finding a "goodie box" at your door filled with fruit and those amazing blueberry muffins (his wife's secret recipe!!!) made you appreciate just how "down home" a place away from home can be.
