There were some great historical displays at this place but I was actually there to see the Day of the Dead display which is there until early November I believe.
The culture museum was closed which we wanted to go. The buildings that were moved to there were closed because of climate. The quilt show was awesome took lots of pictures. Could only take pictures of the outside of the buildings we wanted to see. Ok only 4 stars because we did not get to see what we went for. Yes they are renovating the museum about the culture and history. Touring the houses or building was a disappointment since we couldn't.
Interesting mix of art, history, and classic architecture of culture of the Harlingen area. Free admission and worth a visit.
Local history is great. Local historic houses moved to this location, first hospital, and rehabbed. Another building showing lots of Local historical information, farming, etc. Two art galleries that exhibit various artists. With the visit. Free, donation encouraged .
Great local history. Walk into the past exhibits. Free admission, donations accepted.
Wow! This museum was filled with great information and history on the founder of Harlingen, Tx. Mr. Lon C. Hill. I loved touring his home, and seeing all of the beautiful antiques. I recommend stopping by and visiting this great establishment. The gentlemen greeted us with a smile and brief history and let us walk the museum in peace with family.
Great employees & very friendly. Answered all my questions I had. I had a wonderful experience.
The new H‑E‑B museum is so interesting! Loved seeing Harlingen’s history and learning something new. The historical buildings on the grounds are well preserved.

Bandera coffee is a true gem of Harlingen! The coffee shop has a super cute vibe, very southwest, and minimalistic. We had an ice latte, which was amazing and a quad shot espresso, also amazing and super cute and presentation. True coffee artist.
Great coffee shop! I didnât try any food because I only went for a drink but I would assume that the food is very tasty. Barista was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I had a a basic latte with honey to sweeten it and it was perfect! Great

From warblers to green jays and bundtings to cardinals this park is a sleeper for birders. Be ready to find broken glass and trash on trails but itâs a safe park itâs worth a trip but you do need some patience and itâs best to come early mornin
Took the dogs on a BEAUTIFUL walk. We saw all sorts of wild life, native plants (with labels- if you're a nerd like me), and butterfly gardens. There are several trails to choose from. Also, not super crowded.
If you buy the tickets online, they charge a small service fee. If you don't want to pay it, then you can buy the tickets in person. There are different rooms which give you different experiences and the prices differ. The more you pay, the better th
It was a wonderful morning for a jog in the park. No better place than Pendleton Park. It has good running trails , plenty of shade and benches to rest , also, it has a set of exercise equipment , but above all , you will find beautiful views .
I havenât had good Filipino cuisine in almost 10 years and the fresh, hot, delicious lumpia, pancit, dinuguan, menudo, and pork adobo was absolutely wonderful. All the meats were juicy, delightfully seasoned like my best friendâs family does it,
