Kenny, the owner, consistently has GREAT blues going every week...don't wait...get out and party!! Clientele is friendly and fun...best atmosphere! Pool table here too!!

If you’re in Berwyn looking for a beer and a great time with mature patrons and an amazing staff who has the most friendly, dedicated owner I’ve ever seen you’ve found the perfect place! Don’t miss the opportunity to pass it by, you won’t be disappointed! I’m blessed to live next store and hear what’s going on throughout the night, I hate that when Ray and I park the jeep or the Mercedes we don’t see you! This is an old style blues bar with friendly staff. Affordable. You can still get a beer for $5. The band was really good. Coming back.

The best bands are playing at these hidden gems/hole in the walls places. HARLEM AVENUE LOUNGE in Berwyn, IL is an old school, 70's decor , wood paneling on the walls, orange counter top bar, dem lighting, dark old school vinyl floors and inexpensive drinks. ($5 for a glass of wine and $4 for a bottle or beer) When my husband and I stepped inside, I felt as if I was inside a time machine. Personally I loved the 70's vibe. I should have worn my bell-bottoms. Lol! Perfect setting for the band that played this particular night! The bar manager, ( Dave I think his name was)...greeted us with a smile. Great place to visit with a mature crowd that appreciate grown folks music. They don't serve food but you're welcome to bring food in.. So we ordered chicken wings n fries, sat back in our lopped sided bar stools licked our fingers and listened to Mike Wheeler's Band jammed the house down! Awesome band that played Blues, Funk and R&B. Words can not express how good this band played! The cover charge was 10 bucks... I would have gladly payed more because they were off the chain and they played from 9pm to 1am in the morning! We definitely had a fantastic time!

The quintessential Blues dive bar! Blues and R&B bands present their skills in this intimate, low-key space. The joint might be low-key, but the music is high intensity!

The musical talent that performs here is excellent! Atmosphere is old school but classy. No overpriced drinks Highly recommend.

Awesome. Been here several times the atmosphere is cool and the live entertainment is equally cool. A must see for the finest in blues music.
