Harland’s is a very quaint place to enjoy a meal. Sarah J. Is an amazing waitress, with a side of humor. She really was spot on to our breakfast needs. Our compliments to the chef… great omelets, we rarely find restaurants who can make an omelet without browning it… these omelets were perfect! We will definitely return again!
Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning as we were driving through. Restaurant was busy but we were immediately greeted by our waitress and sat down at a table. Our order was taken promptly and food was out in a reasonable time. Biscuits are delicious! Food was good. No complaints other than the tables are a bit close to each other. Love stopping here when we visit Wellsboro.
We visited the Harland because of the proximity of The Canyon Hotel. You also get 10 percent off just by showing your room key card. The food was good and the service was excellent. They make you feel like a regular at the restaurant. The porch is very inviting, so we had to get a picture on it too.
This food is delicious! Really good burgers. Even the vegetables were excellent. All of us in our party loved everything we ate.
This spot was a random pick for my family and I but boy am I glad we choose it! The food was so delicious and fresh. We ALL enjoyed our meals and would 100% recommend this gem! Very "homey" feel and friendly staff, and for the quality of food the price was SPOT ON. My family is a diverse bunch and felt very welcomed. Give them a try for yourself!! (we only tried breakfast foods; should we ever be in that area again we will stop in for lunch/dinner!)
We went as a last minute last resort option. It’s a shame the place has really gone downhill. Years ago it used to be really good! But it’s dirty and dusty in the place now. My husband and I each ordered the chicken breast entree with fries and “vegetable of the day”, it also comes with the salad bar. The chicken was most definitely frozen, it wasn’t seasoned well, if at all and was pretty tough. The fries were so dried out it was like eating sawdust and the vegetable of the day was a large frozen microwave heated bowl of peas, green beans and corn. The salad bar wasn’t all that fresh, wilted and the topping selection was rough. Mediocre pickled vegetables, mushy over ripe fresh vegetables and the salads section with the pudding and “fruit” was sad. All the fruit is canned and made with sugar syrup and the applesauce is canned with added sugar. We were meeting some people afterward and one of our friends actually asked where we went to lunch and commented “you smell like a diner” indicating that we reeked of old fryer grease. How embarrassing.
The food was decent. I normally get a cheeseburger and fries when I go to new places because normally they are pretty easy to make. A medium-well burger still came out burnt and the fries were greasey. Went back for redemption and had breakfast. It was good but for the price the portions were small. Service was decent as well. It wouldn't be my first choice of places to go however.
A lot of tables were all sat at once, so the food took a while to come out. The servers were very friendly, especially considering how busy they were. The blueberry pancakes were HUGE and delicious. I had the sausage patties and eggs. My friends had breakfast sandwiches on biscuits. They said the biscuits were very good.
This is where to go to have that alone time with the one you love. This lodge was recommended to us by a friend. We checked it out in April 2023. We loved the room and the quiet atmosphere. There were other people staying there but you would never kn
Nice, well marked trail to the rim. The main trail was gravel, handicapped accessible and well traveled. Less than a mile to spectacular views using the main trail.
There were a couple offshoot trails from the gravel that took you to the rim as well
Our group stays here every time we go up state snowmobiling. Love the location and getting breakfast before heading out for the day is a huge plus as well. Owners are as nice as they come go above and beyond to make sure our stay is great everytime w
Plenty of easy & difficult hiking trails & walking paths with views of the canyon. This park seems less visited than Leonard Harrison on the opposite rim. Bonus, road to the park is flanked by Tioga State Forest lands with additional hiking trails, o
The view is amazing! Fall colors, sunset & also watched a lot of eagles! No hike needed to reach the observation point. You can drive it there. Make sure to download the map beforehand, internet is weak once you reach the top.
Great place for biking, the trail is well maintained. Amazing views of the Pine Creek canyon. Comfort areas a.k.a. bathrooms are clean and have baby changing stations.
Favorite place in the valley. Good beer selection. Steak sandwich is the call. Sometimes the wait is long bit who cares, your in the mountains! Staff is all top notch!
Husband and I embarked on another adventure, making a stop at the stunning Hills Creek State Park for an overnight stay. We were in awe of the park's beauty and were pleasantly surprised by our campsite, which offered full hook-up including sewer. Th
A beautiful small park. Being from out of town we were looking for a nice place to sit and take a break. We enjoyed the scenery and watched cars go by while playing cards. They do have power which we used to recharge a cell phone. Would definitely co
