Hardy Boys Records and Comics - Record store in Mint Hill - 11237 Lawyers Rd STE 201, USA

I have been coming to both HBR locations since they first opened. Both locations are awesome, especially for the areas they serve. You can hit both locations on the same day and come up with great finds at each. The stock is different between the two, so it makes it a little more fun to dig. Everything used is beyond fairly priced, and in the condition expected upon purchase. Sealed/New records track accurately with retail prices, and are also fairly priced. What sets this shop apart is the connection Dean has with his customer base. He ALWAYS goes above and beyond to get the records/comics/equipment his customers are interested in. Beyond records, each shop has a great selection of comics, collectibles, and other great things to shop for. I rarely leave empty-handed, and always leave smiling. HBR is a Charlotte-Area staple for collectors, and I am always proud to refer them to anyone who is on the hunt for a cool find. Thanks HBR for keeping my turntable spinning!

I have been to the 2 previous locations and visited camp north for the first time. This appears to be a pretty hip place with all the other shops and I can see great success at this location. Just enough records to browse and I walked out with 7. My observation the owner and 2 sons ( I believe) and one other employee were helpful and friendly to everybody. They also have a couple chairs to sit down and browse your selection. Cheers.

While they do have a comic section in Brass Grasshopper in Matthews and in Mint Hill at the antique shop on lawyers road, not alot of "new" stock. Over the past few months no new stock in either location. Also, key issues in pretty rough shape priced as "mint". Lots of comics in very old bags with no backing boards. The Mint Hill location seems to be a storage location in my opinion. If you are looking for quality copies of comics and key issues this is not the place to go.

Great little spot. Found it almost on accident. A bunch of mid tier used books, and a good selection of DVDs at reasonable prices. But the vinyl, toys, and comics are really where the place shines. They have a lot of really cool stuff. I was personally there looking for stuff for resale, so I was comping a number of items. Almost everything is right at fair market value, which is refreshing (if not a little disappointing for me personally) to see in a world of people gouging one another. Really cool pieces at completely fair prices. Worth a look for any Rock/Comic/Toy collector.

Vinyl, comics, tee shirts, good stuff. Good spot to sneak in on the way home from Mint Hill.

Amazing record store! Both their Mint Hill and Matthews locations are stocked with a wide variety of new and used records spanning various genres with very reasonable prices on most albums. Owner is super down to earth and has helped me through any issues I've had (which were not his fault. I lack any sort of luck when it comes to new vinyl being in perfect condition and there's been two times where a brand new modern record I've bought from this shop has either been horrendously warped or skips. That's a pressing plant quality control issue though. Both times that I've had this problem he was very quick to offer a refund or replacement and I appreciate the hell out of such good customer service.) 10/10.
