Harborside Inn - Featured Reviews (413)
The inn looks somewhat decrepit from the outside and indeed, this is borne out. Rooms are accessible from open stairways so anyone can easily access with no key card. This is a security risk. The hotel is an old 50’s style motel. The rooms are exactly as one would expect. Ours had an alcove for kitchen and seating and a bedroom area. The windows opened (hooray) which was lovely during the hotel weather we experienced. Like breakfasts in cheap motels all over, there is little on offer save the usual pancakes and syrup and cereals accompanied by sweet pastries. The view over the harbor is lovely in that you can see the sea from your balcony. That is the high point of the stay: there. Is a somewhat view through a sea of masts……
We stayed here while going to the Whale experience. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and basic. We had a sea view over a harbour. It came with a self serve breakfast which was very much appreciated before our boat ride.
front desk staff friendly, spacious room, decent breakfast and located 5 min from harbor for whale watching.||But watch out for the dog poop... found in our room, my wife picked up the turd and brought it to the front desk.. the lady said > "well the first floor rooms are pet friendly"... lol good answer??|she offered to switch rooms, but we were already unpacked and only staying for 1 night for whale watching next day.|appropriate thing to do what have been to offer a partial refund as we thought we were paying for a clean room. it also did smell a bit like dog||would not stay here again as there are other options in town, but if you have to, dont stay on the 1st floor i guess
Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Great views of the harbor. Private balcony for each room. Nice breakfast too. Our favorite hotel in Port Townsend. Pleasant, efficient and helpful front desk person for check-in and check-out. We'll stay at the Harborside Inn next time we come too.
Maybe I should have judged this book by its cover? This place looks worn down and beat up. The hot tub and pool were closed, but thats fine I had no intention of using those amenities. The room is where all of the problems were. The toilet had poop drops on the seat. Poop drops that either belonged to the maid or the previous guest. GROSS. The shower was also dirty with greasy spots that were removable, I know becaused I wiped it down and they came off, and had brown hairs all over. (I do not have brown hair). The room smelled so bad we had to open the sliding glass door and the entry door to attempt to flush out the musty smoke smell that was thick in the air of that room. And the bed, while clean, was not comfortable. I did not get a good nights rest. Honestly I might have slept better in the car. Hahaha. Just kidding but for the price this room was trash.
Check in experience terrible. |I asked the young lady if there was a bathroom in lobby I could use, I was checking in. She bluntly said NO, and that was it, no recommendations or suggestions.|The last time we stayed here was a couple of years ago and the place has really gone downhill. It looks, feels and is rundown.|There has to be a decent clean place to stay in Port Townsend?
With a limited number of options in Port Townsend, you can do worse than the Harborside Inn. Old school motel with some updates. Could use a bit more sprucing up, but props to the ample towels and pillows, and decent bedding. I didn’t eat breakfast, but it appeared adequate. Very friendly staff, and daily housekeeping.
I've stayed Here Alot For Work. The Ladies are Always So Helpful and Friendly. They All Go Out of Their Way to Accommodate You. Rooms are Always Clean and Fairly Good Size. Nice View of Marina. But Overall The Service Is Great. Small Town Welcoming Feel Always.
Loved staying in this old building! So interesting and unique. The room felt enormous with it's crazy high ceilings. Perfect location. I know it's a historic building, but the rooms do feel like they could use an extra touch of historically accurate
We LOVE Marina Cafe! They have lunch everyday that comes with a salad, chips, cookie and soda and whatever hot sandwich/wrap is made for the day. On Thursday through Saturday evenings, they now have tapas, beer, cider and wine and it is the best thin
I went here for my first time today. It was amazing! I had absolutely no idea this museum and restoration shop was even here. This place helps kids get in to aviation too. I loved it. If I didn't live so dang far, I would definitely volunteer as an A
Wonderful park with great play areas and beautiful quiet areas to contemplate the universe. Be sure to check out the bench swing and many secret gardens
Our favorite restaurant in Port Townsend! So good we went 2 nights in a row during our trip. We came back for their amazing pasta and ice cream! The seasonal ice cream was apple pie and itâs the best! Their devil eggs and scallops are our favorites
My wife and I drove up from Poulsbo for the day to be tourists. We asked a local merchant for a recommendation. He gave us 3 choices and we chose the Fountain Cafe. Itâs a block from the main road but worth the walk.
Wow. The food was fantast
