Harborside Inn - Bed & breakfast in Newport - 1 Christies Landing, USA

To say this was our favorite place to stay is an understatement! We enjoyed a 1-night stay at the Harborside Inn while traveling to Newport. The staff from beginning to end was beyond accommodating. Check in was a seamless process, and the room was very clean, decorated, and had had all the amenities needed. Along with a fantastic view, and everything within walking distance, we were given some great recommendations for food and activities from the staff. Breakfast was also a fantastic spread, with plenty of food and drink options. With flawless attention to detail, and going well above all expectations, they earn our highest recommendation, and we look forward to returning!

Loved this hotel! Perfect location with amazing accommodating staff! Our room #8 was a beautifully renovated duplex balcony room with a king bed and two twins on 2nd floor. Breakfast in the morning was a nice treat, it was included with our room. The hotel also kept the breakfast room open during the day for cookies and coffee/tea, the oatmeal cookies are a must try. Highly recommend for families, couples and solo travelers. Prime location, close to all shopping, bars, ice cream parlors and restaurants. Jane the hotel manager recommended Gansett Cruise's, great recommendation. I will defiantly be back! Thank you Harborside Inn for a great stay.

The Harborfront was a wonderful place to stay. I was very impressed with the room, not only with the decor and cleanliness, but the comfort as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, willing to help for any questions or concerns. Will be returning for my next stay in Newport.

We booked this hotel because of the great reviews. We were looking for a place close to town and walking distance. |Location is amazing, the staff are the friendliest, welcoming and super helpful in giving tips where to go for dinner, around town, etc.|The room was great, super clean, had a loft which was awesome.|They also serve breakfast and coffee and afternoon hot cookies.|Overall, we would highly recommend and would go back here when we visit Newport again.

The Harborside Inn is a charming inn with lovely views of the water. Our room was large with a couch and seating area. The bed was comfortable. We had a small balcony with seating, but be aware that the balcony is tiny and not very functional as a result. Our stay was quiet and the breakfast was good. There is also a bar next door with seating overlooking the harbor. Overall, a lovely place.

The Harborside Inn was truly a charming gem among the many hotels and inns I have visited in Newport, RI. I recently spent three nights there with my wife and could not have asked for a better visit. The desk team was incredibly welcoming and always showed interest in our day—kudos to Alan and Elle!||We stayed in the Captain’s Suite, which was perfect. It was well-appointed with a wet bar and a quaint seating area. The suite also had a small private deck with views of Newport Harbor and the Newport Bridge. Each morning, we enjoyed a light complimentary breakfast while overlooking the harbor. The breakfast attendant was a joy to speak with and mentioned she had been working there for many years. It was also nice to have complimentary baked cookies made daily, which were delightful with tea each evening. ||I will definitely return!

We stayed here for one short day in Newport. Originally, Newport wasn't on our itinerary until we did some research. This felt like something straight out of a Hallmark movie. Let me preface by saying that we are from Arizona, so we have nothing like this out there. When we first arrived around 2PM, we met Jane, who is the sweetest woman we've ever met. You can tell she's been at the property for a while and takes pride in what she does. She was super kind and upgraded us for the night to a ocean view room with the balcony, all because she can! We settled in and the place was so open and clean. We'd like to thank Jacob for helping to carry luggage up the stairs to the room and show us where we will be staying.||It's super centralized within Newport so walking anywhere was super easy. Parking was available to us and easy to get to. Breakfast was great, the cookies were fantastic! I've seen that other people complain about noise but we didn't hear a single thing when we went to bed. They provide white out noise in case you need it! We loved Newport so much. We plan to come back to this awesome town and will look at Harborside Inn before anywhere else here. Truly a memorable experience for only one day.

Can’t rave about this place enough. |First of all, JANE. She made us feel so welcome and special even though this is only a mid-rate hotel. She truly made it feel like home and was there to solve any problem. She learned all of our names and plans, and made sure to ask about them. |Secondly, my husband suffers from allergies. At the last hotel where he stayed, the heating system was blowing dust all over the place. This room has baseboard heating, hardwood floors with rugs, and the extra blankets are sealed up in a bag so they aren’t just getting all dusty in the closet. |This is a great location. It is in walking distance of many attractions. The price is great. Spend the few extra dollars and get a waterside room.|P.S. Warm, homemade cookies every afternoon.
