Harborside - American restaurant in Manitowoc - 701 York St, USA

The food was absolutely amazing! So was my before dinner drink, a brandy Old fashioned press. There were four of us. The one who ordered the walleye thought it was a bit over seasoned. Three ordered steaks, two black and blue tenderloin, the other a Philadelphia style or burnt rare steak. All were cooked absolutely superbly. I told the waitress to tell the chef that it's obvious they know what they're doing with beef. We definitely made the right choice going there.

A very unusual Supper Club as far as Supper Clubs go. All is what you would expect from Traditional Supper Clubs; great Food, Cocktails, and Service. The unexpected part is the location. Harborside is not the traditional Dinner Lodge or Rustic Restaurant. The restaurant is located in a building housing other stores. They have done a great job creating the real Supper Club feeling inside the restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere with subdued lighting, soft music, and great bar to start your evening. The bar staff are excellent mixologist and make a wonderful Old Fashioneds, you will definitely want more than one. The restaurant staff is equally professional, making your dining experince special. The food is perfect from steaks to seafood. There is no wrong choice. Unusual and unexpected but still a truly memorable evening. ENJOY!

Bartenders wonderful, waitstaff good, food , okay. Not very tasty. Just to say not over seasoned but, very under seasoned. Beverages great. Appetizers are good. No , surf and turf. 😋

The owner greets you at the door. It is a great place for a great meal. The prices are super. I only wish they would upgrade their tables and chairs. A must stop when looking to eat out in Manitowoc!

I had a phenomenally cooked Filet! Service was very friendly & those at the bar made for wonderful chatting. Very cool old school spot!! I'll definitely be back! Thank you! #ChefApproved

For what may look like a hole-in-the-wall bar, Harborside had some tasty offerings! A business meal with my colleague. We skipped the appetizers and straight to meals. Him ordering the Walleye dish, which came to lightly fried fillets of Walleye with garlic mashed. He said it was tasty and appreciated the light fried. I ordered the 8oz Black & Blue Fillet with garlic mashed. My fillet came PERFECTLY cooked as ordered, and that's a great start. The filler was also white thick, an excellent cut off beef I would say. The seasoning had a kick to it, but not hot & honestly tasty .. the blue cheese cooled it down even more. There was not nearly enough of the mushrooms & onions, at all! Needed much more of that and had almost none of the "sauce", so they lost points there! The garlic mashed was good, although not delicious or special, but solid. The bread was terrible, straight up Wal-Mart clearance type bread, where it crumbles if you try to put butter on it, which was the only way I could even eat a bite. The French Onion soup was good. Very dark. Very heavy & dense, but good. Service was also good. Very attentive waitress. I'd say Get Some! ... but don't bother with the beard!

Great local place to eat. I had a salad, French Onion soup, and the shrimp and crab augraten pasta. The pasta came highly recommended from the bar tender and she was not wrong. It was all very good.
