I went to Harbor Inn Seafood and I got the fried seafood platter with fried catfish and clam strips. The platter came with fries and hush puppies. The food was a 10/10 recommend! The catfish was delicious and the clam strips were nice and crunchy. The only reason I gave a 4/5 on the food was because of the cake. The cake itself was good but definitely didn’t have enough frosting and the layers of frosting were extremely uneven and thin, as you can see in the picture below. Overall I will go back here again, but I’ll leave the cake in the display window!

Hummingbird cake is pineapple, banana, and walnuts! Didn't think the fried seafood was as greasy as some other people posted.

If I could give this restaurant a 0 I would. And this is solely based off the so called “manager” of the place. We were a party of 5 and 3 of us had gotten the broiled salmon. All three of us didn’t like the salmon and thought it had a sour taste and smell to it. The manager came over to the table and basically told us “it’s fresh. We have never had a complaint about the salmon. It’s our top seller” and yet every plate that went by was all fried foods. She then walks away and “acts like she went to the kitchen” just to come back and tell us “so I just checked and smelled the fish and it’s fine”. Not once did she apologize. Only defended “they never get a bad salmon”. The waitress we had was super lovely and came back saying the manager adjusted the bill. Come to find out we were still charged $17 for “6 custom items”. When we were going up to pay we asked what this charge was for and the “manager” very rudely said they still had to charge us for something. Never has a restaurant only adjust the cost of the “bad item” but still charge you for everything else that came with it when we barely ate any of it. She rudely and sarcastically said “so you want me to take everything off?”…. That’s not the point. And yet still didn’t apologize. Only kept saying “in 18 years we have never had one person complain about the salmon”. Which that is NOT possible. The “manager” is in a lot of denial and does not care about her guests experience. You are better off NOT coming to eat here because if you don’t like something the manager is just going to tell you that they never get any complaints.

This was exactly what I wanted it to be: a generous portion of perfectly fried seafood with friendly and fast service. Highly recommend the Thursday special fried flounder and baby shrimp with hush puppies, Cole slaw, and a side for $11.95!

Always hits the spot. I wanted a fried and satisfying dinner, so I ordered fried pickles, calamari, and crab dip. A perfect balance of goodness. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because it's always cold in there so bring a jacket.

We were a party of 24 then 4 more people showed up. The service was VERY, VERY slow and unorganized. total. This was my third visit and the previous visits were on a much smaller scale. The service was a little better. I knew to make my order simple and I wouldn’t be disappointed. I was not pleased with the wait time at all. We received hush puppies 45 minutes after we were seated one group at a time. Different items were missing off other plates that were sitting near me, it took over ten-15 minutes to complete orders. We had one server such a large number . Almost everyone had fried food but it still took forever to get the food. The bills were given out without any problems. This restaurant is not capable of handling over four per table. It seems like children are working here.

TERRIBLE ordered their “fresh” seafood and tasted like a sweaty sock. Our server was so sweet, but the “manager” (grey haired lady with glasses) is extremely rude and petty. We told her that our salmon tasted funky and she said “we’ve been opened 18yrs and never had complaints”….come on now LOOK AT YOUR REVIEWS. She didn’t once apologize. Manager guilt tripped us in paying for the tiny baked potato and frozen veggies because it’s a “small business”. We will never go back. If you want nasty salmon and food poisoning, this is your place!

They offer take out at their take out window which is cool. Clean spacious dining room that's great for social distancing. Enjoyed our food. Note the crab dip was good but not the best I've had.. but our meals were excellent! We shared a broiled plate and a fried plate. Portions were large hot fresh and goooood! Staff were friendly and offered great assistance with ordering and with choices..
