We picked this hotel since we were driving from south Oregon to north Oregon. The positives were the location, quietness, bed, cleanliness, and price. The rooms are definitely dated. The only update was the TV (which we didn’t use), the bed, and the floors. The room bathroom and room furniture was functional but definitely showing wear. The deadbolt on our door was broken. I would stay again if things were updated. I just wasn’t comfortable staying for more than a quick night. There is a great restaurant across the street!
There are not a lot of options in the area but Harbor Inn was a fine choice. Clean, large TV (good amount of channels), spacious with a little table to eat or work at. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe especially with the friendly staff who I believe are the owners. It is right on the main road so there is some unavoidable traffic noise.
I slept so well here. It was quiet. It was clean. Friendly and knowledgeable at the front desk. I will stay here again and again when I am in the area. Definitely a must stay at place.
Nothing fancy but if you are in need of a hotel in Harbor, OR can't go wrong with this place. Rooms decent and clean. Staff is pretty friendly too. Had no problems whatsoever
This place is old (they're still using steel keys) but worth the money. Carpets are in pretty bad shape and I stepped on something sticky. Staff was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again.
I have stayed here multiple times and have been very happy. They have recently upgraded the rooms which are very nice. The location is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They are close to the ocean and a great breakfast spot is a walk across the street.
The worst staff I have ever seen in a hotel. They are way too arrogant and do not talk in a polite manner. Please do avoid this hotel as they don’t provide good customer service if you cancel or change your trip plans.
I will start with the bottom line - I strongly advising you to stay away from the harbor inn chain in Brooking. Their service is terrible and they have no idea how to serve a customer. I will never go there and advise you to do the same! If you want to understand why I'm so harsh read on. Booked a room via Priceline. No pet limitation where mentioned in the process. When arrived I told the receptionist about the pet we have. She demanded 45% more money to switch from the original room to a pet-allowd room which is basically same room. She spoke to her manager for 25 minutes while I'm waiting standing with no empathy to me (the customer). Eventually she said that he is coming. He came erogant and rude and explain to me that he doesn't really care if Priceline didn't mention anything in the booking process (despite the fact that he himself saw that there is no mention on the site). When I express my discomfort he rudely told me that he is not willing to deal with this attitude and he is cancelling my order. I wasted 35 minutes of my time, was treated horribly and ruin my mood for the rest of the evening (not a good thing when you on a trip with your family). I ended up finding another hotel (wild River Motolodge) with great customer service and better room with a cheaper price.
