Harbor Belle RV Resort - RV park in Punta Gorda - 3701 Baynard Dr, USA

We enjoyed our time visiting Grandparents! The resort boasts great character and is well appointed with a beautiful clubhouse, pool, boat launch, fishing docks, laundry and shower facilities. Awesome people as well, very friendly community!!!

I hate to post this info because I'm shooting myself in the foot since I own property in this community that cannot be moved out, but the truth must be revealed...four years ago this was a nice place, heading in the right direction, but it has changed ownership 3 times in 3 years and rents have more than doubled in that same time. Substandard infrastructure (30-amp power at most sites) and the water and sewer are so bad that they shut it off about once a week for emergency repairs, usually unannounced. Nearly half the community floods badly with any significant rain. Ownership has no interest in re-investing in the community, just raising rent. Management has no authority to do anything without ownership approval, and rule enforcement seems to only apply to some but not others. For instance, dogs are limited to a certain size and breed, however, there are some that could be mistaken for small horses. Vehicle repairs are not allowed, however, one resident has a business rebuilding golf carts in his front yard...usually a half-dozen carts and parts strewn everywhere 24/7. Damage to community-owned buildings remains from hurricane Ian nearly 2 years ago, however, residents were given 7-day eviction notices for repairs needed on personal property. Long-term/permanent residents are discouraged from upgrading or enhancing their units. Worst of all - the required "background check" is a joke...only CONVICTED FELLONS are rejected...anything else goes. We are stuck...don't duplicate our mistake.

I guess if they did not buy that cooperation in Indian river where they paid those people a pretty penny i coukd sell my place for a goid sum but since they are paying for it on the RV parks Fl rules STAY AWAY they dont care it is a bank to them

We brought our RV and boat. Were able to dock our boat right by our campsite. Friendly staff and neighbors. Some permanent residents and some temporary. Really enjoying our stay here. Laundry facilities, pool tables, swimming pool, fishing and access to the Gulf from our spot. Our travel trailer is a bit large for here at 37ft but they let us take up several spaces due to being off season. There is a few spots for larger RVs. Very peaceful and relaxing here. Private boat ramp and a place to store your boat trailer while here also.

Rates keep increasing. Shuffle board courts are cracked and have been for 3-4 years, bocce ball court poorly maintained, "fitness center" is a poorly maintained universal, etc.

Just spent January and February 2022 at this resort park and it was everything I had hoped it would have been. The residence's are super friendly ! Tons of activities including: kayaking, billards, golf and simple cards cards. The pool/clubhouse area was perfect and welcoming. The two office people, Thelma and Louise, were helpful and professional.😁 Can't wait to return.

Stayed here as we were passing through the area. Office was very helpful in finding us a site. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evening and talking to the friendly residents. Definitely will stay again!

A good friend of mine lives here I've been seeing a lot of time over there he seems everybody is pretty nice and peaceful The only thing I can say bad is you will get lost in this place very easily look at it on Google maps from the air. BUT really nice place to live.
